Bieska looked to be chasing Janssen,
before Rypien (unfortunately for Janssen)
jumped in.

In real-time, it looked drawish,
but the slow-mo showed Rypien picking him apart.

By the end,
Janssen, bereft of his usual ''poor-man's Tie Domi'' cockiness,
seemed dazed, but still aware enough to be relieved that Rypien got tossed.

Great fight.
Nasty win...
Rypien.

Rypien landed more. Janssen is the successor to Tie Domi IMHO.

wow very good video footage....they slow it down and give us three different looks

i must say that Rypien is an amazing fighter......not since Stan Jonathan have i seen a guy so able to move up in size and look dominant

lighting fast.....accurate.....overwhelming......Janssen is great but Rypien really carved him up!!

FOTY so far i would say....impressive stuff!

YEA BABY!!!!! I have been waiting for this for a while.........Janssen is Stronger but The Ripper gets the win>>Landed more ......
I can't believe someone called it a TKO!!!!! I do understand some calling it a draw but they should slow it down and watch it a couple times>>>
Ripper wins and again WE ALL win..........

rypien the definite win in an absolute 10, really a phenomenal hockey fight. didn't even last as long as it could have, but the amount of punches thrown is staggering. certainly the fight of the year to this point.

Blood does not equal a win. Draw

Hell of a fight, Rypien landed a few more big ones though and gets the edge, the only bad part is that the damn line-os had to break it up when they did, there was plenty of fight left in both guys.

It's laughable that anyone would score this a Janssen victory or a draw. This was a decisive victory for Rypien. Anyone who thinks otherwise is low functioning. Janssen is a cheap, talentless weasel and for that beating Ripper, I thank you! Oh and Bloodchurn, good call on the draw verdict, have you been drinking?

This was a great fight, and I have to give it to Rypien, he landed more and he landed often. The ejection surprised me, but it's in the rule book.

I hate how the St.Louis commentator was so biased against Rypien. Rypiens totally feeding Janssen rights and all he could say was that Rypiens helmet was off. And then when Janssen would attempt a punch and miss he totally make it out like it landed and make a huge deal out of it.

Great fight! Nice job by both guys. Gave a slight edge to Rypien, looked like he landed more and was a bit more accurate. Very entertaining. Gave it a 9.

I can't stand Janssen, and Rypien won this fight but my God people he isn't the second coming. The bandwagon is loaded up and dripping with hyperbole. Try not to wet your pants at the mere mention of his name and recognize that he's an excellent fighter, but a light weight puncher and that's about it.
