McCabe seemed to be as shocked at Kovalchuks' eagerness to fight, as I was at the watching the Russin give him the wet noodle shake
3 times.
Funny win, and Rocky move, Kovalchuk.
To paraphrase ''buffalo squad''...''One of the best players I'll never see''.

That was priceless, I loved Kovalchuk's hamming it up at the end. I also loved Ovechkin's 50th goal party, so... I guess I'm one of those people that doesn't mind a bit of russian flair in the NHL. McCabe... well I don' know what the hell that was, he was acting like Kovy had a gun and he kept tuck and rolling out of the way of the bullets. I don't know how else to explain it. If they both stayed on their skates it could have been great, but I called it a 5 as well (I don't know about the rest, but the energy and the celebration after to me bumped it up a couple notches). Win Kovalchuk.

LMFAO

McCabe gets slapped around by a goal scorer!!

Not a fan of throwing them while a guy's on his back, but IK isn't much of a fighter, so he gets a pass on that one. McCabe apparently went to the "George Parros ice dancing school", either that or the trainer slipped rollerblades onto his feet.

Im glad Mccabe is not with the Leafs anymore!!! Kovalchuk and throw, in all of his fights he has done suprisingly well. Easy win for Kovalchuk!

Much props to Kovalchuk, really liked how they both dropped the lids. McCabe gets thrown around like b*tch. Also enjoyed the flair at the end, Kovalchuk becoming one of my favorite players that i never see.

It was a good fight because Kovalchuk simply surprised us all -- Including McCabe. The pure athlete beat the slob. Win Kovalchuk.
