Nice first fight for the rookie. I've been watching this guy come up. He will be one of the next generation tough guys if he can play a little.
No offence to Downie, Vukota et al, but the habs haven't had real toughness since the Nilan-Kordic era, so can only be a good thing for them going into the playoffs and on into next year as well. McCabe landed more, but Stewart looked fierce throughout. Draw.

McCabe gets my vote.
He was slight winner here, i understand a draw as well but not edge for Stewart, not even slight edge to Stewart.

McCabe landed only punches here though.
I am not sure did Stewart landed his own when McCabe got away a good flurry.
He missed one punch for sure as McCabe gets up as he avoided smartly that one.
McCabe got great takedown.
He edged Stewart,

I'm not sure what other people were watching, but I saw McCabe land and the other guy didn't. If he had connected, McCabe would have been in trouble, as Stewart was throwing bombs with that left. McCabe won.

I still cannot believe how, even though obviously those 5 rights in a row from mccabe land on stewarts chin, people give the fight to the non leaf. This is obviously just a bunch of leafs haters knowing mccabe won the fight yet not wanting to admit it. I hate mccabe, and I am die hard leafs fan, hes a puss and looks scared when he fights, but you cant deny the fact that after he ducked that punch he landed 4 or 5 good rights of his own and the fights ended pretty much after that. Easy win for mccabe.

I'm always amazed what people on here write. McCabe isn't my favourite player, but let's be reasonable. Stewart shoved McCabe after he passed the puck. There was like 2 seconds left in the game. It was the last game of the year. It's been a frustrating year for McCabe and the Leafs. What did you think would happen? McCabe slashes him and spears him and it's not right, but what's this rookie thinking? Stewart has been in more fights this year than McCabe so he can take care of himself. I think the rookie needs to show a little more common sense. If it were McCabe who hit him with 2 seconds left and then got speared you guys would be writing that McCabe got what he deserved.

As for the Donovan and Ott fights - in both fights Donovan and Ott went after McCabe with gloves off throwing punches. McCabe doesn't fight anymore. There is no code to follow when your opponent didn't follow it to begin with. If it were me I would have kept pounding both guys while they were down until the refs dragged me off.

Win B MAC.
McCabe's second fight in as many nights. He throws a couple bombs I think one or maybe two land clean. Good scrap B Mac has been in some weak ones.

I would have to give McCabe the win b/c i saw him land a very nice one, and i didn't see stewart get any good shots in

What a way to end a career with the Leafs, spearing a rookie and then fighting the kid.

typical Bryan McCabe....spear and slash your opponent when the game is decided and ending....what a classless player who even the hapless Leafs wish they could trade for a bag of pucks....gotta love the no-trade clause, hey Toronto?

Looked like a quick jump by Stewart but more quality shots by McCabe.

I can't understand some ones defending Mccabe...that guy has spent his career slashing and speering and a young kid showed him a lesson.Thats all.Poor leafs, get rid of that guy.
