Rough night in Philly...
as Rinaldo slides a step down the 'respect ladder',
while Schenn gets tagged like Craig Coxe in a Probert fight.

Down he goes. Uh, stick to the playmaking kid.

It was a spur of the moment decision for Schenn to challenge Kovy but the Flyers were skating both Shelley and Sestito to handle the fisticuffs. Painful lesson for Mr. Schenn.

That was fun, not a 9 or a 10, but I enjoyed that a lot, one of the best punches of the year. Rinaldo owes Schenn a steak dinner for causing that whole situation. I hate the slew foot crap, real dangerous play and why would you do it to a superstar, keep your nose clean player like Parise.

ha. Rinaldo should have gotten that beating

As of now, I can't think of a 'superstar' player who can fight as well as Kovalchuck.
He threw the right a little on the blind side but he hit the mark right on for a good knock down.
Tough learning curve for the kid...

Boom... Here comes the boom..... Did you see Schenn's face as he was on his knees and the ref's stepped in??? Priceless... Francesca Rinaldo with a move that rivals Marchand... Very weak.

The announcer had it right here. Kovalchuk may as well have had roots in the ice he was so well balanced, so he was throwing from a position of great strength. The punch itself was a blind hail mary but sometimes they connect. Buh bye, Brayden.
Rinaldo did not place his skate behind Parises skate. Parise placed his skate in front of Rinaldo and started taunting him when his team was up by 4. Take a seat Parise ya little whiner.

Another Flyer loss. When will this team toughen up? Nice slew foot by that punk Rinaldo too.
