| Behind the play, Erskine gives Janssen a little slash, letting him know that he wants to go. Janssen turns around, quickly drops his gloves, and grabs ahold of Erskine before throwing a quick right to start things off. They exchange right hands and Erskine knocks Janssen's helmet off during the exchange. Erskine then throws three rights and a jersey-jab while Janssen returns fire with two rights. Erskine throws a couple of more jersey-jabs as Janssen shakes off his elbow pad and lands a hard right to the side of Erksine's head. Erskine comes back with a right of his own as the two struggle to get free. Janssen throws a right and the two go back and forth with right hands. Erskine is able to tie Janssen up and throw three more rights as Janssen throws one. They exchange words and Janssen cracks a smile before the two go back and forth with rights once more. The two yap some more before Janssen throws a jersey-jab and a right while Erskine connects with a right cross. Erskine then throws two uppercuts as the linesmen come in and break up the long bout. | ||

This was two seasons after the AHL Houston Aeros had Erskine, Derek Boogaard, and another behemoth named Bill Kinkel on their roster, at least for part of the year. Can you imagine facing those three guys on the ice at the same time?
