McGrattan uses superior size, power, grip, and technique
to dominate an overwhelmed Janssen,
as he proceeds to 'seriously' tune him up
over a lengthy period of time.

To his credit,
'Barney Rubble' does make his usual,
ill-advised, but nonetheless, courageous, attempt
to hang in there long beyond the point of all reason.

Unfortunately for Janssen,
not even his traditional ''late comeback'' routine,
could save him from the relentless onslaught of ''McGrattan-bombs''
that seemed to be raining down on him continuously from the outset.

BTWilson hits the nail on the head, in pointing out the fact that
in the past, Janssen... always seemed to get '';monstrously tagged'',
immediately after doing his Matthew Barnaby impression
(i.e. waving off the linesmen).

Great to see McGrattan make yet another comeback. Meanwhile Janssen must have a steel plate in his coconut to endure all those blows, but man, he has incredible endurance.

Classic. I dont know whether to like Janssen or just wonder if he is a total nut case. To stand there and get hit in the head time after time tells me he is either the stupidest fighter of all time or the most courageous. great fight fellas. And Grats is still my favourite, just stands there and throws and takes no matter who he fights.

McGrattan with the win due to the early dominance, but Cam continues to do his best Rocky imitation where he lets you beat him until you are tired and then he comes back in the end. Both fighters deserve respect for this effort.

Janssen took about 20 plus punches before he can figure out how to get inside McGrattan's reach and grip.
Janssen almost makes a come back as McGrattan looked like he was running out of petrol at the end...but too little, too late.
The way I see it, Janssen has to stop relying on the " rope a dope " and get his licks in sooner ( before the refs stop it ).
Good one boys !

You know who won this fight? The fans.
And I am VERY concerned for Janssen (not kidding). He should see a neurologist on a regular basis. He's been getting his a$$ handed to him for 15 years now...I

wow making a living the way Cam does can't be easy. he give up so much size and has to eat so many shots to get to where he can start trading. The guy is a warrior and i have the utmost respect for him

win McGrattan and the NHL is so much more fun with him in it!

That was a long fight....At first I thought Cam made a HUGE mistake and although he lost he didn't shame himself or lose any face with me!!!! Disclaimer; he didn't lose any face with me in this fight

Great scrap, McGrattan and an 8, pumped Nashville picked him up. McGrattan had Janssen looking like a junior player for the first two thirds of it, though Janssen did land a few at the nine minute mark or so. If it went another five, Janssen could have taken it. The best part of the fight, Janssen doing his usual "No, not yet" a split second before chomping down on a McGrattan left.

Great fight. all Mac early and Cam late. Two of the toughest in the game. Great fight.

Allright... I'll be the odd one out and give this one a draw. McGrattan early, middle, and almost all of the late... but it was pretty clear Janssen's plan was to get only one or two good punches in after the big boy tired himself out and show that McGrattan wasn't invincible and he exactly what he got what he wanted and was no worse for the wear so I'll give him the reward he sought. Of course the first time he does his lock out and avoid routine to someone his own size I'll be going right back to my usual Cam bashing.

Draw. McGrattan landed more Janssen better.

BMcG takes this on points, but he didn't land half of what he threw. Good D by CJ, who was flat outsized.

wow. McGrattan with a huge size advantage gets the win, but never really does any damage to Janssen.

Janssen continues to impress with his heart, stamina and a little bit of crazy...
