Wilson so far this year has cleaned out 6ft8 Oleksiak, 6ft5 Watson, and now 6ft4 Cernak So he doesn't go picking on the little guys you dumbclucks. The ONLY thing any Wilson-hater clings to is "Ryan Reaves". That's ALL you can say. So if your entire judgment of a fighter is how he fares against ONE guy, then you really are a bunch of fkn idiots who have no business evaluating hockey fights. And for the record, while Reaves is definitely BETTER than most Caps fans give him credit for, Wilson is also WAYYYY better than the Wilson-haters would have you believe. They're both good hockey players, I'll take both on my team in a heartbeat. Reaves isn't some one trick goon, he plays the PP, throws great hits, scores some goals, and is truly an intimidating presence. That being said, while he's probably stronger than Wilson is, in their fights so far it's been fairly even. So its not like RR is cleaning Tom's clock. And Tom as a hockey player is fantastic. Great PKer, can play on any line, is the most versatile Caps forward, was a critical piece in the Cup run etc etc. The best power forward in recent memory. The guy no one talks about who could potentially give both Wilson and Reaves a run for their money is Ross Johnston. That guy is truly scary. He's got the power of Reaves, in a bigger body.

Wilson has had about 80 fights since entering the NHL 6 years ago. It would be pretty embarrassing if Cernak, a rookie who has had only one fight, would have beaten him. Too bad Willy-Dilly will only be remembered as a cheap-shot asshole in another 15-20 years.

Cernak is 6'4'' and 225 lbs or 2.1 meters and 100 kgs, for all you canucks. That being said puts him in the same weight class as Wilson.
