Coleman honorably charges in but that last look over his shoulder to see if anyone else was coming was priceless Wilson quickly assesses the distinct lack of danger and decides to use the encounter work on his right hand jab technique Lol @ The always to the point GreatMurray the consistently hilarious Daysofcoleco and the legendary Swiney Great stuff
Not much doubt here. Although you gotta give Coleman credit for stepping up for his teammate. Wilson, 5.
HOLY FUCK!! how much money did coleman owe wilson?? he was swinging from arizona on that.
Well that was a drubbing. Good on Coleman for standing up for his captain, but he was about 3 weight classes out of his depth, and Wilson didn't have much difficulty pounding him out.
I'm sure Wilson was already thinking of fighting Coleman because he got the better of burakovsky and so he seems quite happy when Coleman actually challenges him
The editor had his hands full with the first 1:00. We'll never get that minute back. The fight? Do we even need to say that it was the most lopsided fight ever posted on hockeyfights.com? Wilson really beat the sh!t out of him....wouldn't give it more than a 6 because it wasn't exciting to watch.
Holy shit Wilson can swing.
A little context on this fight. Earlier in the game Coleman took a penalty by sending a Capitals defender into the wall. Because of that hit he then fought a guy who doesn't fight. (Burakovsky) Burakovsky and Wilson are good friends and they were roomates for a long time. That explains Wilson seeming to really want to hurt Coleman.
I don't like Wilson, always thought he was a jerk. His smile while he skated to the box is telling. But damn, that dude throws punches with bad intent. Props to Coleman for stepping up but jeez that's gonna hurt tomorrow. No contest.
2nd fight for coleman in period and in the season,it was coleman this time who sought revenge after wilson's hit on captain greene at the boards coleman was doing quite well but wilson is much bigger and it showed but wilson was quite lucky when coleman's body twisted in such a way that his head ended up not far from wilson's right hand and all he had to do was just to thank and punch...win wilson and 6
I like Wilson, even though I am a St Louis fan (what a mistake trading their enforcer, Reaves, to Pittsburgh. The Blues will get their asses kicked repeatedly throughout the season). Wilson can really throw them, as evidenced in this bout.
Coleman got bitch slapped by a true bitch
Blake Coleman made a mistake.
Did anyone really see a different outcome here??? A fighter who is almost 6" taller and about 15 or so pounds heavier goes up against a non fighter. Easy win for Wilson and a 5
Wilson makes a great hit. Coleman decides to challenge him for it. HUGE MISTAKE! The kid can play hockey and kick ass...here he did both quite well.
Coleman with some synthetic confidence gets dominated and laughed at.
Coleman got his teeth fed to him, but he did the right thing defending his teammate. Good fight.
Whoops.
wilson is a chode that can punch really really hard
Coleman steps up for his Captain...whoops...he steps into Tom Wilson who is still on fire because of the bullchit suspension! Gotta give this a TKO as the ref gives Coleman a standing 8 count and leads him away. Coleman's face looked like that hunk of beef Rocky was working on. That there was a serious ass whipping!
He had that for lunch.
as a Caps fan, it was great to see Willy administer a proper beat-down. as fan of the game, i'm sure Dalton Prout would've kicked Wilson's ass.
Done like dinner...
That was like watching a welterweight go up against a heavyweight. Still, Coleman put it in the street and he stepped in it, big time. Dalton Prout was suited up for the game and he would have been equal to the task of taking on Smilin' Tom. Gotta check the schedule but the next time NJD plays the Caps we will likely see a repeat of this: http://www.hockeyfights.com/fights/126524
Coleman does his best impression of a punching bag...and nails it!
Coleman learned the hard way that you just don't want to mess with Tom Wilson. Burakovsky may not be a fighter, but Wilson is, and he will make you pay.
lol. Coleman reminds me of a little beagle who started a fight with a bullying German Shepherd. He even looked around real quick like "oh sh*t, I guess it's me". Hey, he tried, brothers. He tried.
I thought Wilson went after Coleman for his cheap hit earlier in the game, but Coleman was stupid enough to pick this fight. This is about as lopsided a hockey fight as you will see.
Coleman fresh off his win against Burakovsky feels as if he can take on the world. Unfortunately for him he could not have been more wrong. Ouch!
Coleman got destroyed.
Wilson had his right working
Damn embarrassing ....... Should have picked his nose and not his spot .....
Wilson completely destroyed him.
Eight straight haymakers probably made Coleman re-think his decision to step up on a player who had a lot of pent up aggression from sitting out 4 games. Best part of the fight, besides Coleman's long slow stroll to the box sporting the marks of an ass-whoopin on his face? Willy laughing away that Coleman mistook him as a creampuff fighter like Burky
The hit by Wilson looked clean. I'm assuming Coleman accepted an invitation from Wilson earlier in the game (after the Orlov cheap shot and/or Bura fight). Wilson didn't seem to be expecting Coleman coming after him, but once he got on track it was all downhill for Coleman. Great job by Coleman hanging in there while giving up @ 5" and 30 lbs, but Wilson won by a landslide.
Wilson destroys Coleman in a complete mismatch. Coleman should not try to be a tough guy he does not do a good job at it.
nice one! 7/10
AND HERE COME THE PRETZELSSS!!
He used Andre as a punching bag and then found out later how it feels to be a punching bag
Fantastic beatdown by Wilson
Nice try Coleman...maybe next time
Hey Gary, Thanks again for suspending the mean guy so I run Holtby all I want to. See you at youre place next week! Xoxoxo Cindy Crosby
Brutal beating. Brutal.
Yikes. Gotta pick your spots Coleman
Good to see Tommy Boy back from his suspension.
poor Coleman.
Coleman tries to go 2 for 2 on the night having beaten an Ikea wardrobe he thinks he can go toe to toe with Wilson. No hex keys and chip board here. Is the announcer even alive?
Beating
How does Coleman not get the instigator, but Bura did earlier in the game? Pretty poor choice for Coleman to take on Wilson, he'll be hurting now.
Wilson with a big hit then coleman goes in and gets hammered . Wilson did take the opportunity to give out a beating on a lesser fighter but he doesn't look that good against real fighters
Now that was an ass whuppin! Beat him DOWN...to the ground, literally! "Have THAT for lunch!" Haha! You know that was for Coleman not letting up on Borakovsky. You played right into Wilson's hands. I hope that I get to see that face in a day or two when it all turned purple.
all ass-beating aside, Coleman is ALL man for goin at Tommy & saying "what's up?"... one of those rare times when a guy can skate to the box w/welts all over his face and still have a shred(or two) of pride.... #43 FTW
Let's see how tough Wilson is against a real knuckler. Kicked Colemans behind for sure, but Coleman not exactly a fighter.
That's what happens when a college kid goes against one of the last remaining heavyweights in the NHL...and Wilson is not even an elite heavy. Props to Coleman for taking all those haymakers and remained conscious!
Had me laughing along with Willy as he pummeled away
Coleman has a false sense of security after his win over Burakovsky. He bites off more than he can chew and gets the stuffing knocked out of him by Tom Wilson. Ouch.
