Off the top of my head, fight of the year so far. I don't think Valabik thought Rypien would drop em. Rypien hung around until he got into a position where he had an advantage and didn't let Valabik back up. Sure Valabik landed a few early, but I don't see how you can say Valabik won that fight.

No wonder Valabik always hits and runs and ducks the heavies, he can't even handle a midget. A tough midget at that but Boris please don't ever fight again, infact maybe you should uh try out to be the new Barney the purple dinosaur. There is no way a guy as big as Valabik should lose to a guy Rypiens size. Embarrassing!

A jersey over the head does not a win make... but it does turn a Valabik edge into a draw. Rypien shows his iron man quality again. I'd like to see him go with someone else with stamina like Jim Vandermeer.

After viewing the fight completely on you tube.........I have no doubt Ripper gets the win.
Vally Girl landed some big shots at the start and the Ripper" DID NOT QUIT"!!!!!!
Then Ripper takes over and starts landing and Vally Girl goes down because he was getting FED....................WIN The Ripper....End of Discussion!!!!

Rypien holds out on the bigger Valabik and then capitalizes towards the end. Win for Rypien

I just love how Valabik was laughing at Rypien's face "whacha gonna do little chump?" Then Rypien drop em' and was like "if you're gonna talk the talk, better walk the walk boyee".

tough to judge, at first blush it looks like rypien, but after four looks he doesn't really land as many solid shots, still i want to see him go with tootoo, or maybe even asham

Once the Ripping Machine got his left hand free, it was all she wrote for Valabik. What really is impressive about Rypien is his defense, the way he keeps his arm up and waitsfor his opportunity to counter.

When a guy FALLS to the ice he doesn't automatically lose...it goes to the judges, but when he intentionally takes a knee, the way 'ol Boris did, then that equates to a tap-out to me. MMA fighters can be getting the worst of a fight, but if they can put a guy in a vulnerable position and make him quit then they get the W.
Love that patented forearm block...he's still the only one I've seen use it.
