Reach overcomes Thorntons medium skills to result in a Kilitchko type win for Valabik.

At this point of the game Valabik was trying to give the Atlanta fans something for their money--their home team was awful last night.

Props to Valabik. Clear win here, hopefully it gives him the confidence to keep fighting the heavies.

Two tired dudes start up like a 72 Plymouth Duster after a blizzard, but eventually they decide to latch on. Thornton with some strong early throws, followed by Valabik with a couple thumpers. A little Greco-Roman with some feeble uppercut attempts, a couple more chucks by Valabik and they both give up. Slight edge Valabik for control and slightly more energy.

Thornton, the consumate pro gives the rookie a shot even tho he was at the end of a shift and gassed......to much size and weight here. Major props to Thornton for even going.....When is the last time he faught someone smaller than himself?...win Valabick.

pmarz1, I think your one of the few who reviewed the fight correctly. All the shots I saw were square on Thortons helmet. You can no longer read the reviews or trust the scoring on this site because of the blind homers and looser announcers. Just watch the action and have your own opinion!

Valabik didn't look very good at all but still dominated.

I think this was the first fight these announcers actually called the fight the way it was. but they are still stupid. Valabik with a clear "W".

If you listen to the Atlanta feed, you'd think everything Valabik threw landed square on the jaw of Thorton. For a minute, I thought the announcer was a Jack Edwards clone. So maybe most of you who thought Valabik won this hands down should replay it with the sound off. Other than the punches to the side/back of the helmet, he lands one punch, to the body. It's virtually impossible to determine if Thorton's first couple of punches land or not, hence, a draw.

Valabik....respect to Thornton...

Well, Valabik won this one. But I'll echo what a few others have said: Thorns deserves a lot of credit here because 1) he fought a much bigger opponent and 2) he was GASSED when he did it.

Had never heard of Valabik until this season, but I can see he has the size to potentially do some damage. Then again, he lost that fight to Tootoo - maybe he suffers from "Hal Gill Syndrome".

Thornton got hurt with a body shot . . . . .

Thornton for whatever reason decided it was a good idea to fight at the the end of his shift. You can see him huffing and puffing at the start of the fight. Decent scrap . I give it a draw.
