Matt Carkner vs Donald Brashear

Those shots that Brashear throws in every fight look like they would not hurt anybodies grandmother. How can he get the win for landing more? All of his punches are pillows!! To scared to go toe 2 toe ? Maybe. Ya 420 I guess you are the king of taking Brashear's left's. Thanks for that informed opinion. Honestly though, why do you win a fight for throwing more punches? Brash throw's more punches than his opponent in all of his fight's, so does that mean he never loses? Crazy. Anyone who can skate decently could take Brashear's noogy shots to the back of their head. They accomplish very little. If he were to throw some decent punches ( last fight I remember him doing this was against Cote last year) he might get some more props from people on here.

No.No.No. Listen all you Brashear haters out there...I don't like him either...but be fair...he is a really good fighter. Brashear has been doing this for a long time. He has beaten many, many handily. He has had a zillion fights in the NHL and is rarely beaten. Wade Belak and Marty McSorley (with a two hander to the melon) are the only guys I have seen stop him cold. Give credit where it is due...Brashear is no wuss...and scares lots of guys because he is quite dirty and mean. This fight is a draw.

I'm not sure how you can say Carkner won when he got hit several more times than Donald did.

Huggybear at it again. Typical MO of Donnie boy. Drop em quick hit the guy in the back of the head and hold on so you can't get punched back. I was hoping Carkner would get free sooner and kick Brashear's butt. Can't wait to see it happen.

hmmmm. carkner almost got a "W" in my eyes but i say draw. Why do GM's sign playrs that the hometwn faithful hate? as tuff as he is tho i'll cheer against brashear evrytime too.

Brash looked like huggybear .Probably trying to get a feel for the guy and not open up until he learned more.Last thing he needs is a new guy hurting him!!!! I hate Brashear with a passion...........He's still one of the best!!!!!

Brashear starts quickly and then young Carkner gets loose and lands a few with Carkner getting the takedown!

I give the slight edge to Brashear, but I'm still not impressed with Donald. Still gonna have to show me more before I stop booing him.
