Seriously didn't know there were so many Canucks haters on this board.
Rypien already beat Carcillo on 2008/03/17, can't wait to see him go with Janssen, Asham or Ondrus. Should be one heck of a show.

RR easily. He really went after a brawler there.

I like the ones who called this a draw. They must be from Disneyland...

Rypien with the easy win. I'll give credit to Carter for trying to hang in there when it's pretty obvious, given their track records that he was probably going to be on the losing end.
BigRob1, you're obviously a complete moron? Calling Rypien a ***** is laughable and it's pretty apparent that you don't know anything about hockey. Rypien regularly fights guys who are out of his weight class and never backs down from anybody. Just because he fights a guy who doesn't tower over him or outweigh him by 50 pounds, doesn't make him a *****. Carter didn't seem to mind dropping the gloves with him and I think that he was actually the first to do so. Just because he took a beating doesn't make Rypien the *****. Figure it out!

Boom Boom , out go the lights.
Rypien is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine as well.
The guy obviously has heavy hands that are also obviously quick.
185Lbs??
Gonna have to research that Carcillo fight.

Good win for Rypien. Although, I'm not quite sure about the "middleweight champion of the NHL" tittle.

Ok fight, horrible commentators. Homers! Rypien with the win.

Middleweight champ? Over Asham?

the middleweight champion is Cam Janssen. Love Rypien, he's a tough dude, always enjoy his scraps, but come on.

what in the hell was carter thinking... rypien is the best pound for pound fighter in league.... he would beat asham in that middleweight class.. being a lefty throws everyone off... i want rypien vs carcillo

to all those here saying he fought a nonfighter, he didnt take on Brown what a *****, he still has to fight Carcillo blah blah blah....1.) carter wanted to fight 2.)Brown is a joke, he is the most embarassing excuse for a fighter. he played for Van last year and was a disgrace when he dropped the mitts - hugfest and weak takedowns. he almost killed Carccillo by cheaping him out on a takedown. Rypien would send Brown to the hospital. 3.) Rypien has already tuned Carcillo - see any youtube footage.

Read it and weep, Rypien owns the middleweights.

TKO cos Rpien let that chump up twice only to feed him more. Could have put him in a coma if he wanted too when the guy was off balance.
