RR easily. He really went after a brawler there.

Seriously didn't know there were so many Canucks haters on this board.
Rypien already beat Carcillo on 2008/03/17, can't wait to see him go with Janssen, Asham or Ondrus. Should be one heck of a show.

haha brymaster obviously doesn't know squat about nhl fighters. first off, rypien is like 5'10" 170lbs (this site exaggerates the numbers) and he has beaten the crap out of heavyweights like stortini and sheldon brookbank. no one said anything about "best fighter in the nhl" but he is the toughest middleweight. plus he's a regular 4th liner for vancouver, not a "10 game per year" guy. as long as rip stays healthy, he's a force

I like the ones who called this a draw. They must be from Disneyland...

Middleweight champ? Over Asham?

Rypien with the easy win. I'll give credit to Carter for trying to hang in there when it's pretty obvious, given their track records that he was probably going to be on the losing end.
BigRob1, you're obviously a complete moron? Calling Rypien a ***** is laughable and it's pretty apparent that you don't know anything about hockey. Rypien regularly fights guys who are out of his weight class and never backs down from anybody. Just because he fights a guy who doesn't tower over him or outweigh him by 50 pounds, doesn't make him a *****. Carter didn't seem to mind dropping the gloves with him and I think that he was actually the first to do so. Just because he took a beating doesn't make Rypien the *****. Figure it out!

Boom Boom , out go the lights.
Rypien is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine as well.
The guy obviously has heavy hands that are also obviously quick.
185Lbs??
Gonna have to research that Carcillo fight.

What a p u s s y Rypien is! Funny how he wants to fight a non fighter with brownie on the ice. Game carter for not turtling like most would of done. I hate it when the announcers are so bias!! Light weight champion, give me a f*cking break!!

to the brymaster1 .....

give your head a shake. Dont speak when you don't know what your talking about. Rypien is a REGULAR player when healthy. Last season he was out the majority because of injury. When he got back in the line up, half the NHL goons pissed their pants.

Rypien dominatttteeeeed.

Watch the fight, daddy taught him well. Punch, block, PUNCH :)
