I'm a Pens fan...and I have said before that I really respect Riley Cote. He is fearless, with heart and determination. EG took him this time, but showed that he fights by the code...and respects Cote by doing so. Godard is such a good enforcer for this team.

Man did Cote look beat up before this fight. His face and hands look like they have both been taken to the woodshed. He needs a break...rest up....and take time to heal up.

I hate to say it but my boy Cote got plum whooped. At least it was to a stand up guy like Godard. Decent fight I guess, especially for those that don't like the Flyers or Cote, then I suppose it was a great one. Myself? Hoping for different results, but whatever...wished it could have went longer! Easy win Godard.
(p.s. I am a huge Flyers fan, but voting the win for Cote = absurd. Fan or not, that is ridiculous).

Godard with the win! Would have been nice to see this fight go longer once Cote got back up instead of having the zebras intervene!

Could've had more too it, Cote looked OK after the refs stepped in, but Godard had him pretty much overwhelmed. I don't think much landed, but Godard definitely caught him a few times and brought him down, so he gets the W.

when will cote learn. he can't touch goddaed, who is the nhl best fighter.

godard won this but i would have preferred the refs not step in so quick. i think cote would have been able to continue the fight.

according to the pens web page godard is 6-4 214
according to the flyers web page cote is 6-2 220

some people obviously need to learn to read or at the very least know what they speak of before trying to school someone else to avoid looking like an ass

Same story as every fight for Cote. Total domination again by Goddard.

Obvious winner EG........Billy jack for your info your man outweighs Goddard take note EG 6'4"-214, RC 6'2" 220. Stop Whinning. Flyerfan4life2, Good bluff. If you know how to navigate to YOUR flyer web site (official) you will find the figures to be accurate or your front office is lying. I stand by those figures. Read before you speak!

Cotex is like the meat hanging in the freezer on Rocky.
Only Philly would pretend he's a heavyweight.
