Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond vs Riley Cote

I don't think it was as one-sided to give Cote a clear win. The kid stuck in there and rattled Cote with a couple of rights at the end. But Cote scored early points with some heavy lefts.

Edge to Cote, he landed the best ones. Nice NHL action debut for Leblond.

Right off the faceoff they drop the gloves and square off. They grab ahold of each other and immediately start going toe-to-toe: Cote with lefts; Leblond with rights. They pause before starting to throw again. Leblond gets in a few rights while Cote struggles to get free. Cote throws a quick right and follows with another flurry of lefts that Leblond tries to avoid. They continue to go back and forth before eventually opting to tie up in close quarters. The linesmen move in and both are separated and sent to the penalty box.

wow Cote is picking up where he left off last year...seems impossible for him to have a fight that isn't exciting and open....cudo's to Leblond for swinging for the fences and putting up a great fight...i give the win to Cote for landing more quality shots flush but it was close

Pretty even fight I would say. Riley may have landed more but P triple L hung in there and threw some hard ones back at him. Even though I hate Philthadelphia I still think Riley is pretty bad ass.That's all you Flyer fans will get out of me lol.

Nice fight. Typical Cote fight. Nice to see alot of the heavy's give the new guys a chance to make a name for themselves last night. I got to go with a draw.
