Off the draw they go. Both in close with Puriton getting off some quick noogies landing to a helmetless Brashear head, nothing that solid. Brash finally gets off Puritons helmet and throws some noogies of his own. Both trying to get a grip. Brash seems to want to get the left free but Puriton holds on tight. Brash throws a couple more over the top. Nothing too much lands.

Purinton early but Brash took over quickly being active about middle and later of the fight.
Brash ate one nice right by Purinton at the start but he landed clearly more punches overall.
Purinton only holds on the rest of the fight.
A clear win for D.Brashear showing more heart.

despite Brashear's reputation for hugging it up, it was obvious from the mid point on that it was Purinton who was holding on tight so that Brashear couldn't get free. Smart move.......draw.
