Gotta love Iginia, wish he was still in Calgary.

Good tactical bout as both fighters continually neutralized each other. Iginla seemed to get in a few more shots, but would even go with a draw. Takedown by McLeod brought him back to a draw.

Not bad, even fight.

Posted by kari takko on January 15, 2017 at 11:38 AM

ok fight, easy draw.

Posted by DARCY T on January 28, 2017 at 01:16 PM

they have been friend for a couple years, shared lockerroom yesterday and they decided to fight.that's weird.i know it's a business but it's still weird mcleod probably landed better shots but overall it's draw..and 5

Posted by sandals on January 18, 2017 at 12:41 AM

Both were sandbaggin'. For whatever reason, they decided to duke it out. McLeod could have done much more damage, and I say that as a longtime admirer of Iginla. This must have been to settle some sort of beef/bet in the CO locker room a long time ago. Not much of a fight, but it's always fun to see Mr. Iginla drop the gloves. 5 and a draw.

when did mcleod go to nashville?

Posted by slysi on January 26, 2017 at 10:35 AM

just because you're on the same team ...or were ....doesn't mean you like each other ! this pretend bout brewed sometime before it erupted

Posted by gmr133 on January 16, 2017 at 12:54 PM

Good effort on both ends. Solid draw.

With that announcer we all lost! Man that guy sucks

Posted by brokenhead on January 15, 2017 at 02:35 AM

Jesus, I had to do a double take here!! I thought 2 teammates were going at it! lol. Had no idea Colorado dumped Cody to Nashville.

Posted by mr. puttzo on January 17, 2017 at 05:34 PM

McLeod landed the most

Posted by retired2006 on January 15, 2017 at 04:05 PM

very close, don't see why McLeod has more votes here, didn't agree, should be a draw, too many hom---ers we'll go with, voting on here

Posted by von_swine on January 14, 2017 at 06:32 PM

guess Cody wasn't that much of a fave in the Colorado locker room... still, had some connects to Jarome's face even w/the shield intact so not a bad showing for his 1st as a Pred.. #55 FTW

A repeat of their bout in 09

Posted by rocky 1 on January 16, 2017 at 01:26 AM

I did not realize that McLeod got traded.Well anyway there where a lot of little rabbit punches thrown in this one with Iginla throwing more effective Rabbit punches for a close win.Any of you that say McLeod won really need to watch this a couple of times or get glasses. He landed nearly nothing! Anyone heard from Montreal's Behn Wilson. We will send out a missing voter report! We all miss you Behn! Haha

These guys tie each other up fairly well. McLeod gets the takedown.

Posted by WhyGo77 on January 14, 2017 at 07:27 PM

Interesting that McLeod fights his former team (from yesterday). Iginla never backs down from anybody. Good for both of them.

Sorry to see this...would rather see the Highlander kick Sakic's ass. McLeod wins with harder punches...but Iggy is awesome and I hope he gets the hell out of there soon to any team with a shot at the cup.

Still have a dislike for visor vs no visor fights. Edge McLeod.

Not a fan of either, real good scrap though

Posted by sndaysnipr on January 14, 2017 at 11:20 PM

Not much happening here. Draw

Posted by EK65 on January 15, 2017 at 09:54 PM

Pretty good draw. Weird to see Cody Mc in a Preds jersey. Good for Iggy to give Cody the fight.

Posted by Screaming Buffalo on January 14, 2017 at 07:56 PM

That fight looked like set up where they agreed to make it exciting but not hit the other guy very hard. It looked like they were hitting each other with some pillow fists.

Posted by Daysofcoleco on January 15, 2017 at 03:39 PM

Mute the announcer (who went to the Jock Edwards School of Ethical Commentating) and you'll see this was a draw. Nice though... low animosity - like they agreed years ago that if Cody ever got traded Iginla would fight him the first game because they could.

Posted by bigmike53 on January 15, 2017 at 05:12 PM

Love these two guys. Cody asks Iggy for a go and he obliges. Even scrap IMO.

Posted by meatface on January 15, 2017 at 01:00 AM

Great to see, Highlanders first game in another sweater, I wanted him to fight somebody.

Posted by Nashvillewayne on January 14, 2017 at 06:56 PM

Good scrap. Interesting to see Cody fight his former teammate so soon. Good showing against the shield.

Posted by thebapper on January 14, 2017 at 06:52 PM

Mcleod couldn't hang with old Iggy, and thats his job on the team

Posted by Jesticle on January 15, 2017 at 09:42 AM

Cody McLeod of the clan McLeod with the rather close victory, and "There can be only one" Judo toss. Methinks there were racial issues in the locker room. Everybody else on the av's loves Duncan's offspring.

Iggy won, good tilt

Posted by Don Berry on January 15, 2017 at 03:26 PM

CM with the win over the ageless one!

Posted by digitalroc on January 17, 2017 at 08:05 PM

Close fight, it shows these two didn't get along while McLeod was in Denver.

Posted by Bigsky23 on January 17, 2017 at 11:25 AM

Embarrassing for McLeod. Iginla is an old man by NHL standards and he can only fight to a draw with him!

Posted by sedinfan on January 14, 2017 at 11:08 PM

I suspect Iggy and a McLeod were not the best of friends as teammates.

Posted by Fast Hawk on January 14, 2017 at 07:31 PM

Edge McLeod.

Posted by Humper on January 15, 2017 at 01:07 PM

McLeod edges out Iggy in an OK bout.
