Can Jack Edwards just retire?

Posted by boldbilly on January 27, 2016 at 07:11 AM

Nice to see the mouthy little cheap shot punk Krug finally get his yap closed...Bruins and their fan base sure love the mismatch in size when it works to their advantage .....Chara dummy McQuaid....ex dummy LUCIC serving his one game suspension for the cheap shot lol In the penalty box you see the little jerk still mouthing off and Stewart just shrugging and saying you started punching first what was I to do As far as Edwards and his as clown puppet brick for a brain goes.....Nesn is probably the only place that would employ such a clueless duo Easy win for Stewart, and let's face it he went easy on that mouthy little punk....lol watched this 5 times. Brought me tears of joy and I scored it an 8 for the sheer delight of watching the little punk FINALLY get his How does 11% of the vote go to Krug.....oh wait we know that answer as well

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on January 27, 2016 at 11:24 AM

Well, Krug dropped the first glove! Stewart took it easy on him, period. Have to give him the W. When they got to the box, Stewart was basically saying he wasn't looking for a fight and did what he had to do since he was challenged. Krug basically shrugged and said "hey, it's hockey and I didn't die" and they both moved on. Can't say as much for some of you in here.

Posted by Orr Fourever on January 27, 2016 at 07:31 AM

Stewies like, "you want some of this? alright" and goes at Killer Krug full force. And Krug surprisingly did not get wasted. I calls it a draw. Kinda embarrassing the Bruins didn't dress a tougher line up against the Ducks. Now I know how Candians fans feel . Who by the way are sinking faster than the Titanic. Loving every minute of it.

(Insert comment about Jack Edwards) (Insert comment about size mismatch) (Insert a jab towards either Chara or Lucic) (Insert a comment about Chris Stewart's fight record) How'd I do?

Posted by web1350 on January 27, 2016 at 09:24 AM

Jack Edward's is a Jack Off!!! This guy is a total moron and Bruin fans should be ashamed to have him announcing their games. The ones that voted for Krug must be Edwards' relatives and Bruin homers. Krug was a willing participant and deserves anything and everything he got.

Posted by bigmike53 on January 27, 2016 at 01:07 AM

Jack Edwards is an ass clown. I guess Chara never used his size advantage on anyone! Good of Krug to try and tame the beast. Too much Stewie in this one.

Posted by Mounty in NC on January 28, 2016 at 04:43 AM

I was a little lost at the beginning of that fight...but it appeared as though Stewart came out on top

Posted by Humper on January 27, 2016 at 11:30 AM

I do it to myself. I can tell who is doing the announcing before I run the video, and I have every ability to just turn off the audio. And I don't. My bad. Anyway, Stewart unsurprisingly thumps Krug. Not terribly so, but close to what you'd expect. So any shock about the outcome, or shock about what Jack said, is on us.

Posted by Hagstrom on January 27, 2016 at 03:51 AM

Winced when I read the two names in this fight

Posted by Davids on January 27, 2016 at 11:58 AM

In the recent past the Bruins have had in their organization Steve MacIntyre,Brian McGrattan,Colton Orr,Matt Hendricks,Lane MacDermid,Bobby Robins,Shawn Thornton etc etc..They have made it clear that they dont wish to carry an enforcer, and thats why I wont watch them anymore.Despite what Gary Bettman has tried to tell us,there is need for enforcers in the NHL,and one of the reasons was obvious in this matchup.Tyler Randell,I love your game man, but if you want to stick with the Bruins you'd better put on a tutu and learn how to figure skate.

cris is beating that pussy up just like i teach him back in scarblackastan

Posted by toy boy dan on January 27, 2016 at 08:52 AM

Stewart way to big and strong, not even close. Torey Krug is a Don Sweeney Clone.(Little Munchkin)

Posted by runitup on January 27, 2016 at 08:35 AM

wtf lol big bad bruins didn't come to the aid of Krug good job guys

Posted by DARCY T on February 01, 2016 at 09:41 AM

finally somebody punished krug for being annoying brat on the ice.good job stewart but i have to give props to krug for trying to throw 'em with guy like stewart...win stewart

Posted by rugdnit on January 27, 2016 at 01:42 PM

Jack Edwards is an absolute disgrace. Stewart was just grabbing a guy in the pile. Krug loses it and starts chucking. Unlike Edwards he got what he deserved. Jesus the Boston announcers are a bunch of losers.

Posted by bobowen34 on January 28, 2016 at 07:38 AM

When I saw a Bruin only received 13% of the vote, I knew it was a 100% win for Stewart. Surprised there are only 13% Boston homers. Same message as everyone else. When Chara picks on people smaller, Jack talks about provoking the Bear. But when the punk Krug gets beat up, then it is a different story.

Posted by gonzo44 on January 27, 2016 at 08:33 PM

Really enjoyed this one ;)

Posted by twelly91 on January 27, 2016 at 12:12 AM

Krug was asking for it, can't stand those dumbass Boston announcers.

Posted by RjBsn on January 27, 2016 at 08:43 PM

All in all, later on Chara got in Stewart's face but wouldn't drop the gloves. Typical Chara- don't take on a fighter that size. As for Krug, just wish it was Marchand instead. Jack Edwards has to go what a embarrashment to the NHL & Bruins broadcasting crew.

Posted by Bloodbank on January 27, 2016 at 03:01 PM

Listening to Jack Edwards call 'hackey' drops your IQ.

Posted by kari takko on January 27, 2016 at 01:45 PM

Gonna weigh in to just say that when Jack Edwards rants his idiotic comments, I don't care who the bruin is that's getting pounded. Win Karma Gods.

Posted by WinnipegJets14 on January 26, 2016 at 11:53 PM

Yeah Stewart good bout. Man those Boston announcers are dumb asf

Posted by kkdowning on January 27, 2016 at 09:44 AM

Jack Edwards being Jack Edwards. How dare any one avail themselves of a size advantage. Chara or McQuaid (or Lucic in the day) would never do that! It looked like Krug dropped the first glove, albeit after some rough treatment by Stewart.

Posted by ruck on January 27, 2016 at 03:43 PM

That Bruins announcer is such a putz. It's OK when Chara goes after guys much smaller than he, but it's not OK when the Bruin is the smaller guy?

Posted by King of Goons on January 28, 2016 at 10:27 AM

Probably the biggest mismatch I've seen since I started posting on this site. That being stated, Krug did pretty well for himself ...for a guy who just got roughed up. Obviously an easy win for Stewart, but kudos to Krug for not leaving the ice on a stretcher. Funniest part of the fight was Jack Edwards call. Would he have preferred it if Stewart beat Miller's a$$ instead?

Posted by GO16 on January 27, 2016 at 10:04 AM

The stupid announcers from NESN are supposed to be neutral, aren't they? Talk about having low IQ !! Krug could have skated away but he thinks he's a tough guy so he got what he got !!! Don't think they would say that to Stewart's face !!

Posted by SOCALFAN on January 27, 2016 at 01:32 PM

First off the announcer is a total home boy douche. Krug was throwing cross checks and when Stewart pulled him out of the pile his 50 IQ points thought dropping the gloves was a good idea. So Stewart is bigger, stronger and handed him a few IQ points to chew on. Total domination Stewart, and he let up on him half way through.

Posted by hal29 on January 27, 2016 at 02:35 AM

Randall is a tough dude. He would do rather well against stewart. As for stewart. Look at his fight card. He has beat some dudes and has lost to some rather weal oppenents. Randall would do just fine. As for the fight stewart won hands down. Credit for krug for throwing and landed one. But stewart is a true heavyweight. I like stewart and have no issue with this. It is hockey and they are all mrn. No damage done. Time to move along.

Posted by HOCKEY GOD on January 28, 2016 at 01:19 PM

Stewart hit him with open hands...OPEN HANDS... it's like slapping your nephew in a play fight. If he he REALLY wanted to smack Krug The Vag, Krug would be in the morgue by now and his memorial bobblehead already shoved waaay up Edwards already well packed ass.

Posted by RespectDaStache on January 27, 2016 at 12:04 AM

"Big hit by Miller on Perron" ahaha not only one stupid announcer but two

Posted by English_Bruin on January 28, 2016 at 12:54 PM

If im honest, Krug is a bit of a twerp and deserves a few slaps. Fair play for going against a dude way bigger than him. Stewert wins jst about.

Posted by CG3 on January 27, 2016 at 12:31 AM

Jack Edwards represents the epitome of ignorance for announcers.

Posted by DucksNation on January 27, 2016 at 02:07 AM

Stewart goes easy on Krug here. Edwards is a world class moron. I'm not saying Stewart should of dropped the gloves but when Krug tries to be a tough guy and starts throwing shots there will be consequences. So if 6'9 Chara fights someone that is okay? Boston announcers are embarrassing.

Posted by drm82 on January 27, 2016 at 12:49 AM

These commentators are comical. The Bruins were known for being dirty, and especially with Marchand. You have Zdeno Chara who is much larger than most of his competition and fights guys 50 pounds lighter and many inches shorter all of the time but it's perfectly okay when their team goes after smaller players. Get a grip you biased ****'s.

Posted by Great Murray on January 27, 2016 at 09:03 AM

Krug has no chance in this. But Edward's load of crap about Stewart seeking out the little guy was really stupid. This was coming from an announcer that goes nuts every time a Bruin beats up a Euro-weenie but had nothing to say when Chara and Lucic skated away from John Scott and Derek Engelland.. Stewart pulled the little fellow out of the scrum and then reacted when Krug took offense. Krug knew what was coming and he got it...a beating. Not for nothing, but his team took a major league thumping as well. The Bruins are actually softer than the Red Wings or the Lightning now.

Posted by mr. puttzo on January 27, 2016 at 12:40 AM

Another Boston lightweight gets his dick knocked in his watch pocket. And delusional fan wants Randell and Rinaldo in the line up, the two of them together couldn't handle Stewart.

Posted by goldie1444 on January 27, 2016 at 12:50 PM

What an asshole. Pick on someone your own size. You'll get yours.

Posted by BPQ on January 28, 2016 at 09:13 AM

Krug held his own for his size, Stewart caught a few on the chin

Posted by legend22 on January 27, 2016 at 04:17 PM

Stewart wins, but Krug does nice job on the gutless Stewart

Posted by Titzmgee on January 27, 2016 at 07:38 PM

Stewart told krug he didnt want to fight him but krug forced him by dropping his gloves. 2 classy guys. If you pansies cant find enough to cry about you all start crying about Jack Edwards. Why dont you idiots just turn down the sound you ignorant bunch of pussies, I thought this was a mans site not a bunch of school girls. EK65 is my hero. Absolutely perfect review.

Posted by jerry s on January 27, 2016 at 05:27 AM

lets be honest stewart is gutless going after krug later on chara had words with stewart and he just skated off

Posted by Canvasback on January 27, 2016 at 01:25 PM

Obviously none of you clowns ever threw the hands. One of the first rules of the " code " is you don't fight a non fighter. Yes Chara's a pussy ! He should have gone with Stewart and then I would have cleaned Maroons clock. Z never goes with a heavyweight and when he does he mysteriously falls. There's times when you gotta say Fuk it, I'll risk a broken hand to set things straight. McQuaid & Randell would cripple Stewart.

Posted by woolly mammoth on January 27, 2016 at 01:26 AM

If someone could just punch Jack Edwards until his face were to cave iin or maybe just shoot an errant puck right into his mouth or forehead, life would just move on without a stir. As for Krug asking Stewart how he did at the end, he didn't want to give up the claim that he did alright because he maintained consciousness throughout the entire fight.

Posted by SouthPaw017 on January 28, 2016 at 05:40 PM

Jack Edwards' comments aside (we all know Jackie Boy, love 'em or hate 'em), you have to give the Tiny Torey some props for at least putting in an effort. Yes ladies, #1, he squared off, #2, he actually traded a few, #3, he didn't get knocked out, #4, he acted like a HOCKEY PLAYER. And since NotSoBoldBilly always has to hammer the Bruins, let me say this about the Queen of the si├Ęge de toilette, with those pearly whites and his big smile, as he drops to his knees (on a regular basis, not only on the ice, but probably off), and covers like a baby.... You can't win or lose a fight if you're too much of a pansy to stand up, and instead, simply implore the Montreal school of fighting: take a dive, lose an edge, or drop to your knees when confronted. Allez fixer Monsieur Subban!!!!

Posted by Canner on January 27, 2016 at 12:05 AM

Edwards and Brick are brutal but give props to Krug for not turtling I always wanted Stewey in a B's uni but he was a complete douche here bigger issue is that Bs can't try to roll with the big west teams with these pantywaist Euro/Collegiate lineups Get Randell and Rinaldo, and a tuff Dman, in there

Posted by Davedano66 on January 27, 2016 at 03:54 PM

Crap fight for Stewart. Considering the size factor and his opponent he should have pummeled Krug. Krug stood in there and didn't take a great shot. Winner Krug. Had the balls to go and shifty moves to avoid a hit. Stewart looked like an idiot.

Posted by pooleyacht on January 27, 2016 at 09:57 AM

Jack Edwards is 100% right in his reaction. Stew has 40 pounds on Krug and way more pugilistic experience. If he had a real issue, he would have went with Miller. Stewart is a spot picking momma's boy.
