Everyone will correctly comment that this was a featherweight bout, but it was a heck of a battle. Great balance by both fighters and hard punches thrown. I'll take one of those every game to get the place cranked up.

Good little tilt by two little guys.Win clearly for Strome but entertaining anyway! Boston fans voting again giving the loser the win.Little fighting power left in Boston anymore .

Posted by bobowen34 on February 08, 2015 at 07:45 AM

I see the Boston crowd is voting. This was an easy win for Strome.

quite the shock. STROME getting the better of a great scrap. was close with STROMES helmet causes him a few problems then took over

good fight between 2 non fighters.it was actually strome's 1st nhl fight and he probably landed 1 or 2 but krug fought quite well too and im going with a draw

Posted by Jellyczar on February 08, 2015 at 09:28 PM

Nice tilt..but nothing but a draw...any angle you look at it from. More comments from people talking about Bruins fans weighing in .... it is probably more true that anti Bruins fans weigh in more... aye yi yi

Nice tilt by the featherweights. Draw

Two smaller stature players produce a big fight. Give and take from both boys so I'm going Draw.

Once Krug let go of Strome's helmet....which was causing a whole lot of mayhem and probably saving him.....the fight fizzled.....Strome takes this one ....good fight for two non fighters really...win Strome.

Decent and unexpected scrap by 2 of the younger up and comers in this league. Edge Strome & 4 Love seeing guys settle their own scores

Good exchange

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 08, 2015 at 08:56 AM

Highly entertaining "I'm not sure what I'm doing here... but what the hell" type of scrap... as Strome's helmet is given the gate for being the third man in

Surprise Surprise! Nice Tussle from two unlikely combatants. Strome by the narrowest of margins. Definitely entertaining.

Great job by 2 guys not known for this. They had beef, they settled it, and that's the end of it. They can move on, and are free to pursue a life of religious freedom. Respect at the end from both.

Awesome! Two little guys having it on. Both were real good except for the part about landing punches. Strome may have landed a couple. Krug may have hit Strome with his own helmet a couple of times. Slight edge to Strome and a 6 because it was fun...looked like they had fun too!!!

Posted by English_Bruin on February 09, 2015 at 10:41 AM

Yeah, think strome got the upper hand on that one, only slightly though. Would have been funny if Quaider had obliged

Posted by toy boy dan on February 08, 2015 at 07:34 AM

Strome, the winner, (Krug) ,boy do helmets and a shield make me brave.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on February 14, 2015 at 05:09 PM

Wow what a surprise. Strome wins the fight, that was fun to see.

Posted by Buddy507 on February 13, 2015 at 02:27 AM

Win goes to Strome's helmet, it landed more blows.........3 because I laughed

Posted by DuxDragons15 on February 14, 2015 at 10:11 AM

lots of punches thrown but not much landed for either player - draw

Posted by Titzmgee on February 08, 2015 at 12:35 AM

2 non fighters going for it.......Krug showing heart against a bigger guy. draw

Posted by ozhffollower on February 09, 2015 at 03:49 AM

Although Strome almost got beat up by his own helmut i call it a draw.

Posted by jciarametarojr on February 08, 2015 at 10:16 AM

Great to see the little guys swing, and both stand up!

Posted by lucic17 on February 07, 2015 at 11:42 PM

Great spirited bought by two guys not known for their fighting skill. Love Krug-he has a scrappy spirit to go with his great skating, slick passing, and accurate shot. Strome with the better shots in a tussle that was refreshing in today's NHL.

Posted by kkdowning on February 09, 2015 at 01:44 PM

I think Krug was more surprised than I was by Strome showing some toughness

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on February 10, 2015 at 01:00 AM

I'll take fights by little guys every day if they are going to be this intense. This was a dandy and Strome with the convincing win.

Posted by rinkrat38 on February 08, 2015 at 02:36 PM

Krug gave away a lot of height and weight. First NHL fight. He held his own.

Posted by FDNY20192 on February 09, 2015 at 09:57 AM

STROMER!!!...With the win!....Love It!

Posted by King of Goons on February 08, 2015 at 07:22 AM

Great fight. I wish more "non fighters" would just drop em' and settle their scores on the spot, ...as opposed to waiting around for their "tough guys" to avenge them. I love Krug's willingness to go with Strome, who clearly instigated this one, but a helmet-less Strome gets the better shots in, and wins this pretty close fight. Krug is lucky his helmet stayed on, otherwise it looks like it would have been a pretty one-sided affair, as a lot of Strome's punches were landing on the helmet and visor. Props to both guys for an entertaining and spirited bout.

Posted by doobi1 on February 08, 2015 at 01:52 PM

One thing for sure, Krug left his shielded helmet on the entire bout. Lucky for him that he did. The most damage he did was freeing the left hand with Strome's helmet attached. If he had lost his lid, he would have been beaten to smithereens. Good bout and Strome couldn't wait to engage, and, without a doubt, is the clear winner in this one. Win to Strome.

Atta boy Stromer. Miss ya in Niagara

Posted by JR1980 on February 08, 2015 at 11:32 AM

Very fun fight from 2 young guys with little idea what they were doing. Strome was surprisingly balanced. Would have love to have seen what the outcome would have been had Krug's lid been off too.

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on February 08, 2015 at 01:39 PM

great fight

Posted by hubofhockey on February 09, 2015 at 04:03 PM

entertaining scrap from two guys i didnt expect, lots thrown but didint look like any real damage was done. Krug at a reach disadvantage here

Posted by Cruncher on February 08, 2015 at 08:28 PM

BBBBBBBB HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA Krug thinks he's a fighter.... NOW! Not even close, love to see his face right now

Another Bruins fight...another loss...

Posted by Jack Meoff on February 08, 2015 at 10:02 AM

Wow, looked like a fight between two guys who were trying to bitch-slap each other. NHL should maybe try to encourage fighting as long as you hit with an open hand. Best thing about this fight was that it wasn't Jack Edwards screaming Strome got knocked out. Draw.

Posted by Jez-x on February 07, 2015 at 08:45 PM

A great spirited draw between a 181lbs. and a 188lbs. respectively.

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on February 07, 2015 at 11:15 PM

Pretty good one, but nothing major landed - 6 and a draw.

Posted by Orr Fourever on February 08, 2015 at 05:36 AM

Well that was cute. Those two looked adorable throwing punches. I calls it a draw. On a side note I got a feeling the Bruins start Malcom Subban in goal on Sunday. Just a hunch.

Great little guy bout. Edge to Krug.
