Nothing landed.

Posted by hughtrain on April 14, 2012 at 11:40 PM

Not much landing. Good draw

Posted by shrk33 on April 14, 2012 at 10:53 PM

Most punches didn't land, but Russell appears to have got 1 jab and another in. Hard to call a guy that made the NHL as a low draft pick and put up some good numbers, made the US Olympic squad, playoff performer overrated.....

Draw. A takedown doesn't win a fight.

good to see some emotions from skilled guys..draw and 6

Posted by TheChimp on April 15, 2012 at 12:06 AM

Yawner. Draw.

Posted by nait on April 16, 2012 at 08:27 PM

where was the fight? also did they count that as a goal?

Posted by Mike Kole on April 15, 2012 at 09:29 AM

Draw. Falling on top of your opponent does not constitute a win.

Posted by Tiburon on April 15, 2012 at 04:01 PM

Why do people give out wins for falling on top of the other guy. You've got to land PUNCHES to win. Draw.

Posted by Radiotalker on April 15, 2012 at 02:15 AM

Pavelski should be careful what he asks for. Taken out by a smaller guy.

win KRS-1

Posted by FHgrad99 on April 15, 2012 at 01:59 AM

OK, how many of you had Kris Russell and Joe Pavelski as being the first two guys to drop the gloves in this series? Russell landed the only effective punch(es) in this fight. He gets the win.

Posted by ChakoSah on April 15, 2012 at 09:26 AM

Couple punches. No real sustainability.

KR

Russell in a squeaker. If the first week is any indication, we might set a record in the amount of fights this postseason.

Posted by riffraff on April 15, 2012 at 10:02 PM

not a blues fan but the sharks are bitches. for all of jumbo joes tough guy slashing and poking he sure avoided the rough stuff tonight.....underachieving in every way. outside of boyle on the rangers thornton the biggest puss in the nhl

Posted by kingpintoo on April 15, 2012 at 11:11 AM

Russell never fights. He was tired of the Sharks cheap shots. Good job.

Posted by bruins rule on April 15, 2012 at 10:33 AM

russell gets the win in this fight.

Posted by matthew.saito on April 15, 2012 at 01:34 PM

I think the sharks are gonna have a whole lot of problems for the rest of this series. Good job Russell

Russell handles Pavelski in an unexpected pairing.

Posted by SEMO_Yogi on April 15, 2012 at 01:20 PM

Clearly Russell with the take down.

Posted by battleshipfan on April 15, 2012 at 01:58 AM

pavelski looked lost and scared

Posted by The Mad House on April 15, 2012 at 09:00 AM

Russell landed the only punch, it was a good spirited bout though. Win Russell.

Posted by amerks25 on April 15, 2012 at 02:21 PM

Pavelski with any votes for winning? Really. The entire Bay area must be on crack

Posted by Kenney21 on August 26, 2012 at 12:17 PM

Kris Russell with the win. Who knew?

Posted by hockeyfight101 on April 15, 2012 at 12:23 AM

russel win, in a tight fight but as he was the smaller guy its an even better win

Posted by hockeyboy10106 on April 14, 2012 at 11:50 PM

ok tilt after the 10minute conversation W goes to russell

Posted by smoothlander on April 15, 2012 at 11:01 AM

Here kitty kitty kitty....Russell, at least take your lid off. Hard to call a 30+ goal scorer that Pavelski is, overrated.

Posted by Sasky001 on April 14, 2012 at 10:37 PM

Pavelski is the most overrated forward in the Western Conference. Now at a 1 he is an overrated fighter. Is he Russian?

Posted by trailmix on April 15, 2012 at 09:23 AM

Little Kris Russell beats Pavelski. Nice.

Posted by jschroe14 on April 14, 2012 at 11:31 PM

Little Russell with the win over Pavelski and the over rated sharts.

Posted by GreatMurray on April 15, 2012 at 06:55 AM

At least the Blues get it. Soft San Jose runs a goalie and gets to fight. Good job by Russell. Marleau is a C&*T. Punching a guy that is being held up is pure crap.

Posted by kkdowning on April 15, 2012 at 09:25 AM

Slight edge to Russel for landing a jab
