Other Penalties: Tim Jackman received a double roughing.
Vlasic started it with Jackman and then won't drop them. Lucky for Pavelski the linesman finally appear but not after taking a barrage of uppercuts. Good ol' fashion a$$ whoopin. Note to Vlasic - don't cross check a fighter off the face off if you don't want to drop 'em.
Typical Sharks like starting stuff then one walks away and the other one gets his butt kicked same old gutless Sharks
Too funny, Pavelski decides to start swinging when Lovejoy's sweater is over is head, then cowers when Lovejoy gets free. Got what he deserved. Lovejoy with the easy win, Pavelski wins the "i want my mommy award".
Crappy fight, Lovejoy gives Pavelski the bidness but that's to be expected when the Mighty Ducks go after non fighters when they're losing. You don't see any of this when they're winning. Hmmmm
Pavelski is a joke in this one.
Jackman with a moron move. Results in a broken hand for a teammate. Nice job!
Lovejoy will be getting a visit from another Shark next time.
Pavelski was just doing his job trying to tie up a guy in a scrum. Lovejoy wins easy but gets no credit...kind of like Lucic beating up a Euro-weenie.
lovejoy had control most of the fight few decent shots landed
jackman vs vlasic domination by jackman and it was all lovejoy once he stung pavelski with his right.pavelski went to his knees
It's amazing how the refs are all over it when it's Getzlaf and Perry fight but when paves is getting pounded they just stand there and watch
Pavelski had better stick to burying the biscuit rather than dropping the mitts.
Lovejoy tees off on Pavelski... Tee's off is a partial understatement... Jackman going after Vlasic completely foreshadows a John Scott jumping as soon as he leaves the box (watching the game I called that...very warranted)
Sharks mans starts and eats a few knuclkes from the man with the sex toy name
Even as a sharks fan. Pavs did not do well this fight... Probly why he usually stays away from them...
While Jackman frantically searches for anyone not named Scott Pavelski offers up a clinic on how to lose convincingly Neither's finest hour
Old time hockey in this game.. sadly, this was probably the best fight of the bunch, although Getzlaf's tussle was OK. I was laughing at Reverend Lovejoy's rabbit punches, until I saw that slow-mo little uppercut that flipped Joe's head back.
REFS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Mo, Hey Mo, Nyuk, Nyuk, Nyuk. This was comical. There might have been a couple of nuggies in there.
Lovejoy seems to be enjoying himself. That's a win, good shot in the middle there, plus some jabs. Win, Lovejoy.
Lovejoy beat the stupid out of that crazy Polack
Lovejoy uses Pavelski's head like his personal punching bag.
Albeit a short flurry by Pavelski, he had his butt whipped by Lovejoy, who gets the win.
Lovejoy gets the win against someone who scores around 35-40 goals a season and has had 3 NHL fights in all his seasons. Sick move man, real tough guy, good game. Enjoy the broken hand ya clown
Pav was getting beaten pretty bad in the fight...but Lovejoy is out 4-6 weeks with an injury to his hand from the fight, likely from hitting Pav's helmet. Pav was no worse for the wear.
Lovejoy took a while but once he got going it was no contest.....easy win for Lovejoy
A non-fighter beats down on an incompetent non-fighter.
Win Dr Strangelove
Man, that turned quickly against Pavelski. He should limit his activities to stickhandling
Bunch of vaginas
that was awesome!!!
Little Joe with the win for the following reason: he broke Lovejoy's hand with his face--or shield (he really did). Lovejoy's is now out for an "extended period" after fighting a non fighter during garbage time... Good decision. You'd think a Dartmouth grad would know better...
Jackman was very brave with Vlasic. Not so brave with John Scott. Lovejoy reigns uppercuts all over Pavelski and pounds out the win.
Thats what happens when you suck during the Olympics Joe.
