In true Bieska fashion, Ballard takes a hard check, sees who did it and attacks Pavelski leaving him no choice but to defend himself. Think Ballard would have done that if it was Clowe? Typical Vancouver Duschbaggery.

Visor smacking yawnfest. Move along please, nothing to see here....

Ballard works his way through the leagues' true, elite, heavyweights... as his ''down goes Fraser'' routine, is followed by a convincing ''left jab'' victory over the legendary, ''Smokin Joe'' Pavelski. I think that has to be the only time that I have, ever, been pulling for Winchester to come through.

All Ballard in this one, which considering his opponent, isn't exactly shocking. Ballard better keep this up to find a way to live up to his joke of a contract. Worst contract this side of that leaky vagina Bouwmeester.

No doubt in my mind....Ballard wins it easily. Pavelski took 4-5 hard lefts right on the beak.

Posted by staceyb on January 21, 2012 at 08:09 PM

Ballard feeds Pavelski a steady diet of lefts.

Posted by bruins rule on January 23, 2012 at 09:02 AM

ballard gets the win.

Ballard with the easy win

Posted by fernben8 on January 21, 2012 at 09:18 PM

Once Ballard got his left free, it was no contest from there on. Good thing Pavelski had a visor...

Posted by sirjohn3 on February 06, 2012 at 08:07 PM

Ballard definitely won. But he beat Joe Pavelski. Enough said

Win Ballard

New sheriff in town!Ballard.

Posted by 26angelstad on January 22, 2012 at 11:58 AM

there's not much i enjoy more than seeing that idiot pavelski getting the crap kicked out of him! win ballard

Posted by DARCY T on January 22, 2012 at 11:34 AM

it looked like pavelski was in the process of being ko'd but he just lost...gave it 6

Posted by dpappas1 on January 21, 2012 at 09:31 PM

Ballard had the left uppercut working like a jackhammer at the end.

Posted by kimo_coyote on January 21, 2012 at 10:34 PM

Ballard win

Posted by sedinfan on January 22, 2012 at 10:38 AM

Two wins in a row for my Canucks and Ballard even though they were non fighters. When you are a Canuck fan, you take anything you can get. Not sure why the fight even started as it wasn't much of a hit.

Posted by kinga101 on January 21, 2012 at 05:59 PM

I don't think Pavelski will be droppin em again soon. He took a beating in this one.

Posted by GreatMurray on January 22, 2012 at 03:54 PM

Pavelski wants to go. Ballard took the "A" train to fist city and opened a can of whoop azz. Ballard wins.

Posted by Westcoast_Goon on January 22, 2012 at 06:15 PM

Pavelski got fed. WIN BALLARD.

Posted by hrbekroenick on January 22, 2012 at 01:11 AM

Nice win for Ballard. Nice to see a Gopher take care of a Badger! I actually think Ballard plays better when he gets more physical.

Posted by flanders70 on January 23, 2012 at 11:13 PM

Ballard "went after" Pavelski? How's that possible when little Joe dropped his gloves first? Ballard with the win...

Posted by vangodard28 on January 22, 2012 at 06:57 PM

2 fights in 2 games for Ballard, surprising!

Posted by Double Nickels on January 29, 2012 at 01:47 AM

Always like to see two college boys go at it... I also like to watch monkeys hump footballs though, so...

Posted by Camper on January 21, 2012 at 10:12 PM

The Canucks line up means non-fighters are willing to drop the gloves more often. Finally, the 4 million cap hit Keith Ballard is of some use.

Posted by nuckles88 on January 22, 2012 at 01:09 PM

wow Ballard messed him right up haha

Posted by riffraff on January 22, 2012 at 02:07 AM

poached shark.

Posted by 777Big on January 21, 2012 at 09:01 PM

Two non-fighters showing why they are non-fighters. A flurry of activity with very little real contact. Leave it to the guys who are paid for that.

Posted by claire alexande on January 23, 2012 at 02:38 AM

The butt bandits from Vancouver and their latest spot-picker prove their tuffness once again by going after a non-fighter. If they think these pathetic displays will intimidate teams, they're even more delusional than anyone ever thought. Crap like this might keep Ballard "earning" his ridiculous salary in the bigs...as much of a joke as he is, he's about as good as it gets on that fairy-laden roster.

Posted by Buster11 on January 21, 2012 at 08:46 PM

Draw. Ballard hit helmet and missed uppercut. This angle of fight makes Ballard look better than he actually was.

Posted by travist on January 21, 2012 at 08:26 PM

hate san jose. hate vancouver. so no winner can be had here unless they both KO'd each other.

Posted by brokenhead on January 22, 2012 at 12:19 AM

Little Joe was fed a lot of lefts by some Vancouver dummy.

Posted by chad420 on January 23, 2012 at 12:17 PM

win Ballerina...Ski took one here

Posted by Rags4Life on January 21, 2012 at 07:11 PM

Ballard's been a pretty willing combatant this year. He takes this one easy.

Posted by FHgrad99 on January 22, 2012 at 02:27 AM

Keith Ballard wins this one easlily. Pavelski wanted to hang on but Ballard was having none of that and landed quite a few punches while Pavelski landed barely anything of any consequence.

Posted by kkdowning on January 22, 2012 at 08:29 AM

ballard wins, but disappointing that Ballard went after little Joe for a good hit

Posted by Jlssg4 on January 21, 2012 at 09:03 PM

Pretty decisive victory for Ballard there. Both started trading toward the end, but only Ballard was connecting.

Posted by neoned on January 22, 2012 at 12:44 AM

Ballard DOMINATED!

Posted by dutchman on January 23, 2012 at 12:06 PM

good for pavelski to stand his ground.

Posted by legend22 on January 22, 2012 at 09:23 AM

typical Vancouver cheap shots lead to fight again.
