god i miss the good ole detroit days, when they were a solid physical team.

The Caps have become softer than the Red Wings. Bertuzzi with the win

Posted by hockinj on February 03, 2012 at 12:52 AM

Happy b-day bertuzzi

Big round of applause for two "finesse" teams... Bertuzzi handles the smaller subject... To Cory411... Good call on your Canucks signing Tyson, he would fit right in with Burrows, maybe they could share biting techniques!!! Burn!

Two wings fights in one game?? 3 in two games?? I must be dreaming...

Ballard loses, maxine loses, sad state for the canucks

Posted by mbaumann on February 03, 2012 at 09:19 AM

Jesus, I wish I could give negative points. These fights this year have been so frickin bad. Terrible year for fights. -1. Both guys are cheap shot bastards who should have their knees broken.

Posted by Lucy Brown on February 04, 2012 at 02:05 PM

That was a fight? 2 mins for delay of game.

Posted by boldbilly on February 06, 2012 at 05:37 PM

It's a draw.................... What .......SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED...............SOMEONE JUMPS BERTUZZI FROM BEHIND AND DRIVES........HIS HEAD INTO THE ICE!

Posted by cory411 on February 03, 2012 at 12:44 AM

I think my canucks need a tough guy.. maybe teach tyson how to skate..

Posted by Skipmeok on February 03, 2012 at 01:00 AM

When I heard there were 2 fights in this game, I first thought that 4 Wings went at it in buffalo sauce....then I thought maybe it was a replay of game 7 from last years Cup final.... in the streets of Vancouver when 2 couples started hugging....that constitutes a fight in Vancouver!! Then I realized that it HAD to be the 4 refs went at it...that was the only thing that made any sense... Todd, you keep fighting these guys that are looking at you you're gonna get hurt!!! Wait for them to turn their back...then sucker punch them.... You're good at that!!!

Posted by xaulxan on February 03, 2012 at 09:34 AM

Fuck bertuzzi. I hope somebody breaks his neck and ends his career. Seriously, I really hope it happens.

Posted by bob35 on February 03, 2012 at 08:05 AM

Not much of a fight, but Bert won the wressling match.

Ballard the Mallard gets his feathers rustled by Bert. Quack Quack you dirty bitch!

Posted by shawn46 on February 03, 2012 at 08:56 AM

Give me my G.D. car keys Ballard!!! I can drive!

Posted by Moose Jaw on February 03, 2012 at 12:15 PM

Bertuzzi puts his hands on Ballard, who then executes a well-practiced Vancouver Flop to avoid getting tuned up.

Posted by BigBadBruin22 on February 03, 2012 at 01:44 AM

Hahahaha. Only the Canucks could lose two fights in one game...to Detroit! No offense to Wings fans, but these aren't the days of Proby and Kocer for your team. The Canucks are just so pathetic. They're not even likable. Anyhow, win Bertuzzi.

Posted by Behn Wilson on February 04, 2012 at 07:21 AM

I believe that the Red Wings HAVING HAD, much less, HAVING WON, two seperate fights in a single game... post Bruise Brothers, nonetheless... is a sure sign of the coming Mayan apocalypse. Everyone to the caves!

im surprised ballard obliged to go.he fights occasionally and it is usually guys of his size...im not sure if bertuzzi landed anything but he handled ballard without problems.edge bertuzzi and 3

Posted by nuckles88 on February 03, 2012 at 02:07 AM

I love big bert but come on, fight someone your own size. Doesnt count as a win in my books when one guy gets tossed around by a guy twice his size

Posted by bruins rule on February 03, 2012 at 12:28 PM

todd gets the win in this fight.

It's a good thing the Wings don't fight much because they're not worth watching.

Posted by GreatMurray on February 03, 2012 at 04:46 PM

Should have been 2 for rough each...no fight. Ballard seemed to try to cut Bert at the knees and then pretty much turtled.

Posted by 777Big on February 04, 2012 at 12:25 PM

Not many things I hate more than Bersleazzi but the Ca-sucks are one of them.....burn, baby, burn........

Posted by lbachand on February 03, 2012 at 01:50 PM

Ballard is a joke!! Win Bertuzzi, but just barely!!

Posted by Dave Brown HOF on February 13, 2012 at 11:08 PM

Big Bert takes the decision here with the win over a game Ballard. Too much of a size discrepancy to overcome for Ballard, who's trying to do everything to stay in the Canucks lineup. Almost feel bad for the guy. He's a 6th defenseman in Vancouver and yet he'd probably be a #1 or at the very least a #2 in that shiat hole Alberta town of Calfairy. LOL, he's the 6th or 7th d-man on the Nucks yet he's only going to be a 7th d-man on the Flamers? The 9th place Flamers? Who have 4 d-men that nobody has heard of or wants. Ok StalkClaire, whatever you say.

Posted by staceyb on February 03, 2012 at 06:36 AM

Bert with the W.

Posted by rocky 1 on February 04, 2012 at 07:23 PM

Bertuzzi uses Ballard like a rag doll and lands a couple flush for the easy win!

Posted by kronvallizer78 on February 03, 2012 at 06:54 AM

Bert over Ballard in a crapper.

Posted by nbecc1 on February 03, 2012 at 01:10 AM

Big Bert showing you cant push the wings around. Balless is going to have a big ear in the morning Bert with easy win

Posted by tattooedkingpin on February 03, 2012 at 08:35 AM

Good for Big Bert and good for the Wings. Keep the fire going. and dress Commie dammit!

37 wow

Posted by Cooley945 on February 05, 2012 at 02:25 AM

did ballard even land a punch?

Posted by slavv on February 03, 2012 at 07:36 PM

Not the first time Ballard has thrown a cheap shot and buckled when it came time to answer the call....

Posted by Laytes29 on February 03, 2012 at 01:15 AM

Redwings fighting... Wait. What did I just say?

Posted by Bosoxshute on February 03, 2012 at 10:13 AM

Its a damn shame Bertuzzi didn't fall down crack his head on the ice and never play again. He certainly deserves such a fate.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on February 03, 2012 at 01:41 AM

Wow, is it a full moon as the red wings have two fights in one night and win them both, Straaaaange.

Posted by claire alexande on February 11, 2012 at 09:23 PM

Bert isn't a good fighter and he handily handles the overpaid duckman here. With this meh victory, TB washes off a bit of the Capuke stink adhering to him. Whatever happened to Ballard? He'd at best be #7 for a borderline playoff team like the Flames, although he could possibly sneak in in Edmonton.

Posted by mmorton2 on February 03, 2012 at 01:09 AM

Win for big Bert. I would not mind if he dropped the gloves a bit more often. is that 3 fights in 2 games for the Wings???

Posted by Rags4Life on February 03, 2012 at 02:42 PM

Snooze of a fight. I guess Bert takes it as KB didn't seem to throw any punches
