Colton Orr vs D.J. King

Slight edge to Orr in a disappointing, defensive,
clumsy, jersey-pulling Ron Tugnutt-festival.

These two guys have the potential for so much more,
but this overly-cautious, sloppy, effort,
looked more like your average Voros-Stortini hug-off..

As his mediocre outings continue to pile up,
I'm beginning to think that King may NOT be
the second coming of Godard, after all...shame.

king was pathetic, hanging on for dear life the whole time.

Was looking forward to this match-up.
Orr does a good job holding on to King's throwing arm.
More surprised with King...he managed to get loose but didn't take advantage of it...or switch to his left to break Orr's tempo.
My guess is that King got rattled by one early in the bout as Orr got off to a fast start.
Hmm....don't think King has won one yet this year. Slow start or over-rated ?

Orr got the perfect grip early on DJ's right (old school elbow lock vs the neck for the jersey jab).....this really limited what DJ could do and kept the fight way to conservative.

i am guessing these two will tangle more this year and Orr's chin can be found so my prediction is this will be the most boring fight these two will have so stay tuned

i think orr tagged king good with that early flurry of rights, which made DJ stay defensive through the rest of the fight as he never got it going

Orr decisively beats King, who probably isn't giving the Caps what they hoped for, and looked like he wanted out.

Assuming that it was the end of King's shift by the looks of this non-event.

Return to form for Orr here, kicked off with some good shots and King failed to recover from that. Good win for Orr here.

Also he got in the best shot but there is no question who landed more shots!!!
Nice grappling match, they prertty much grappled later of the position and threw still impressive shots.
Draw is totally wrong call i say.

King holds on for life but did survive so props to him for that. Orr with the clear win.

They both just stepped on the ice, it was not the end of King's shift.
