Punched and floored based on a good start.

I watched the Caps feed and they were replaying this fight at every opportunity before commercial breaks. Erskine used the Pearl Harbor strategy and laid into BGL before he could get set. Of course the BGL strategy was to take a defenseman with him to the sin bin so the Caps would have to play defense with rookies.

Lousy fight.

Johnny E with the Cheezzy win.

erskine did alright, yet didn't pound laraque, and its good to see laraque get thrown down for once...he's a big takedown artist that never wants to go long at all!

Erskine gets the clear nod, but may have been fortunate that the fight didn't go any longer.

"he's the champ, now, right? " Lol, great line. Just ask Belak's faithful!

Erskine was happy at landing a right and wanted to take the fight to the ground to survive. Can't blame him. Crap fight but he won.

Erskine got the jump on him, but BGL had his gloves off before the punches landed. I guess he didn't get to wish him good luck. Erskine with the narrow win.

Laraque wanted the fight, challenged Erskine for several seconds as Erskine was making his way to the bench. When the gloves came off Erskine being a wide open fighter didn't bother to pose/posture/etc he just started trowing. Erskine with a clear win in a rather uneventful fight.

Draw. Sorry, I can't give a guy a win when he jumps the other guy. Laraque is one of the fairest fighters in the league and Erskine had every opportunity to drop them without jumping him, that was bush league.
