Neely did nothing but hang on and goes for the takedown-move.
It's a medium-long fight where Brash unloads his typical lefts from tight position as they wrestles.
He got in first a good number of lefts and some second until he got in again a bunch of lefts.
Neely gets enough and scores a takedown.
D.Brashear with CLEAR win.

This was sad fight. Brashear was just too young and strong for Neely at this point in time.

Are these votes for real? The Boston homers need to watch this one again because Neely didn't even throw a single punch!

Clear WIN to Brashear. Brash unloads a flurry of lefts while Cam hugs. They open up and Brash switches hands. Cam gets the takedown and falls onto Brashear. Neely is bleeding from the beak of his nose as he skates to the box.

rabbit punches to the back of the head dont win you any fights. Not a mark on Neely's face yet donnieboy had a nice welt under his right eye. Neely with the unquestionable win.

Sadly, this was Neely's final fight because he realized that he could no longer win out over his decomposing body.
Due to the knee injury (which then turned his calf muscle into calcified bone) his hips became totally messed up as well and he couldn't swing with any sort of efficiency (stand up and try throwing swinging punches without moving your hips). Too bad this fight could not have happened earlier in his career.

Great job by Brashear to tie Neely up and still go on the offensive and throw. One of Neely's worst fights ever.

gotta remember neely even got the jump on brashear with the sticks up here but swung and missed (not with the stick) then he went for the grab, dale arnold even said neely never landed a clean one brashear connected with some lefts but nothing devestating, .he didn't look to put neely down cause brashear would hit with 3 or 4 fast ones, clench and then hit with a few more etc,,but then neely str8 muscled brashear down at the end..edge brashear...nothing spectatcular though

Ah this brings back the memories. Neely's last season in the NHL when his knees/hip were gone. The Bruins didn't have an enforcer. Bad times...

i give brash the win,but why would brash go at it with neely knowing, his problems with his knees and hip.neely wasn't a fighter at the end of his career,to bad cause he was still young but injuries and surgeries caught up.i give neely alot of heart but at this stage he shouldn't have to do it.i think it was more or less out of pride.but man could he score till the end.brash with the cheap win on a guy who realy couldn't throw his weight into it...to bad brash didn't fight neely in his prime, now that would be an ass woopin for brash for sure!!!! originalsix dn't be a douche bag all your life ok.oh and by the way that cut on neely was from a stick a few games before that was recut.neely landed two at the beginning and brash had a pretty god welt under his left eye.i changed my mind draw!!!for a injured neely..oh clearly neely is much stronger than brash,he threw him down pretty easy...must say though brash was holding pretty well himself...your a douche originalsix
