David Koci vs Mitch Fritz

Fritz dominated. I don't think Koci landed a single punch (during the fight or after the fight). Koci is not impressive and an AHL level fighter at best. Fritz on the other hand - is a Goliath. Fritz is also a good technical fighter that I would put in the top ten of the NHL. He did well against the champ Laraque. He did well against Godard. Orr cracked him a couple but...not a bad NHL debut season. He's better than Rechlicz. Too bad Fritz can't play hockey very well.

Fritz had his number. Koci didn't know how to handle this...

I don't get Fritz. He's a monster with NO punching power. Seriously. He hit Koci with a handful of rights and NONE of them did any damage. A man of Fritz's size should be flattening people with rights. It's kind of pathetic.

Geez, I wish Fritz would pick on somebody his own size.

Never saw a serious hit landed, turned into a dancing contest. If I was forced to pick a winner I would give slight edge to Fritz. No where on the score calldoes it call for scoring rag dolling.

GOOD SCRAP...................I have to say that Fritz is a good fighter .....the only thing I notice is Fritz always looks very MECHANICAL......HE NEVER ACTUALLY HAS A PISSED LOOK IN HIS EYES..MAYBE ITS JUST ME..........If this guy ever gets pissed------ i mean really ticked off ....look out...Has any one else noticed this??

I'm surprised Fritz is 28yo. Where's he been? Obviously he wasn't off somewhere working on his game.
I remember when Wayne Van Dorp was considered a giant...he's like an inch shorter than Koci, and Koci looked like a kid brother in this one.

Fritz is clearly the larger man with a much longer reach. Koci has to be one of the dumbest fighters in the NHL. He tries to exchange long range hay makers with Fritz and ultimately looks like a complete idiot. Koci does nothing until the linesman get in between and then he puts his brave
face on -- absolute meathead.

Meathead should get a job shoveling s%#t in some field back home in the Czech Republic. Not much of a fight here because meathead doesn't have the skill to take on the larger Fritz.

Koci and Fritz sounds like a good fight but this is Mitch Fritch trying to stay in the NHL. Koci never landed one that counted anyway and Fritz just pounded him any way he wanted. A response to Speedy17: I was at an AHL game where Fritz showed quite a bit of anger going through the tunnel at the end of a period. I was close enough to give him a good taunting and I could see fire in him. I'm glad he kept going lol, he's got anger to back up his size!

Too much dancing!!! I liked Fitzy use (multiple times) of his left to the face of Koci, while holding onto the jersey. Heavy bout - with luke-warm results.

Wow that's a way for Cottage Cheese to use your face to block those rights from Fritz the Cat. Total domination although Cottage Cheese may have gotten disoriented from the merry go round and thought he was back home in Prague on the playground in kindegarden wondering why his friends were punching him.
