Shawn Thornton vs David Koci

A non-event between two ''not quite ready for prime-time'' heavyweight-wanna-be's.

I really have a hard time giving someone a win in a close fight when they take a very late shot after the other dude's already on the ice. So this one I'm calling a draw out of principal. And a 3. I can see a win for Koci though... just hate that stuff... too bad Thornton couldn't really get it going because generally he is a GREAT fighter.

If thornton hadn't slipped he would have [pounded Koci, and he threw a shot as he slipped, which would have connected. Draw.

Neither got going, and neither established control. Koci looked to be the more dangerous, but nothing happened. Draw..

Draw, no one landed a punch.. until Thornton was on the ice, and even that glanced.

Draw, however cheapshots are always remembered.

Edge to Koci in a nothing scrap. I keep saying that I will ignore mcb, but his idiocy is compelling. As someone mentioned recently, how is he able to almost always, if not always, have the final post? I smell a rat!

I wish I could say Thornton took it but the tangleup at the start and the strong takedown gave Koci the win. Thornton should win any rematch they may have.

This had the makings of a great fight and then they fall down. Draw.
