Andre Deveaux vs Riley Cote

Riley my man! Cote takes the Pearl Harbor approach and starts firing away early.

Everybody talks about the code, and players wearing visors etc. That was getting the drop on a guy. When they agree to go after the puck drops, they typically square off. That was cheap of Cote to jump the guy like that. The sad thing is Cote doesn't have to even do that to beat Deveaux. I don't want to crack on Deveaux too much, but he hasn't show much. Cheap win for Cote.

Pretty good fight. Deveaux should have been ready for how ready he was...??? Cote got some fast pops in before Deveaux could even chuck and then stayed ahead the whole time, Deveaux couldn't manage throw anything. Looked kind of bummed after! Don't know if they both lost balance or Cote pulled Deveaux down, but either way, a definite win for Cote, don't understand how it could be scored otherwise.

Im a Leaf fan but I have to say that Deveaux does not do overly well against the true heavyweights! Cote dominated him! Win for Cote!

Deveaux is not a good fighter. neither is Cote, but he's a step up from Deveaux.

If you're going to "ask for a dance" you better be ready. Code? What code? You jaw and then drop your gloves that's the code. I don't have a thing for or against either of them, but if Devaux is going to be one of Toronto's "enforcers" he better learn quick or get a good corner man to patch him up.
