Gratton with the win. Either Brian Burke was getting up to go to the bathroom or he was reaching for the phone to send Deveaux back to the Marlies.

I think Gratton won but Deveaux showed a lot. Deveaux looked bad on his skates. If you look at all the great fighters of the past, they were good on their skates when they fought. Now if you look at overall skating ability, the whole league is better in general. Guys that fight are good on their skates until they get into a fight. Something has changed over the last 10-15 years. They don't know how to skate and fight at the same time anymore. I think its because they used to fight a lot more in Jr. hockey and the minors before they ever got to the NHL. If this fight is any indication of his ability, Deveaux can take a punch, land a punch, get back off the ice to keep fighting, but he is a little wobbly. If he gets over the last part look out.

pretty good tilt. gratton teaches deveax a lesson here.

*just curious because this seems to happen a lot on this site, who votes lop-sided fights a draw or even a win for the guy that gets beat up? who does that? good grief.*

Good fight. Always love it when a fight happens right after the face-off. You can imagine the jawing going back and forth during the TV time out or whatever...

LOL, Bria Burke is such a loser, and I'm not saying that cuz I'm an Edmonton fan. So overrated.

Grattons a beast and im not even a flyers fan. If Deveaux would have kept his posture there would have been an insane knockout!!

Deveaux thought he was the seond coming when he was with the Marlies in the AHL.....you just knew he'd get whipped when he moved up to the bigs.....and he did....don't worry Leaf fans....Burke will trade for Parros within 3 months....
