Draw...lame fight..Carcillo skates away like he's Bob Probert.... he's a punk.

Posted by Gunslinger on November 25, 2008 at 05:16 AM

Shots to the back do'nt count, especially the forearm shiv at the end. I suppose Dubinsky started well and Carcillo finished it. I called it a draw. How everybody says Carcillo kicked ass, I do'nt know, must be "yotes" fans up late.

Posted by UWOStud on November 24, 2008 at 10:25 PM

Carcillo is a piece of sh*t. Dubinsky landed a couple goods one, yeah Carcillo won but the little "waste of time" hand wave Carcillo did at the end was unsportsmanlike. Also did Carcillo throw an elbow/forearm to the back of the head at the end? Thats even illegal in MMA...Gotta give it to Dubinsky for actually dropping them with a better fighter, plus give Bradon his Gordie Howe Hat-Trick!!!!

Posted by patou147441 on November 27, 2008 at 08:54 PM

I could have tell that Carcillo wins but with the forearm he dont deserve the win

Posted by GetUrWigSplit13 on November 25, 2008 at 11:44 AM

this was an even fight...dubi got a few good ones in at the beggining carcillo got a few in at the end..just cuz he forearmed the back of his head doesnt give him the win. mad props to dubi for steppin up he was definatly out of his league..and on that note i totally agree wit bukie really gettin sick of this colton orr pu**y shi*....his job is to smash people out...all the sudden he thinks hes gretzky...i mean its great and all how he really trained and conditioned this summer and he wants to show it off now that hes more than a goon but come on dude...thats your fu**in job...start findin your balls and throwin down because all the stuff you have let slide this year is really gettin to have only fought like 3 times this year.. maybe the game when the capitals were diving on top of lundquivst all game would have been a good start....start droppin the gloves. protectin your teamates and earnin your paycheck!!!!

Posted by speedk0re on November 25, 2008 at 11:36 AM

punching to the back of the head and throwing elbows does not qualify a win in my opinion. Dubi got in a few good shots, and anyone watching that game watched that little pu$$y Carcillo back down from the Orr in the 2nd. If it was a street fight, Carcillo took it. As for a hockey fight, i give the nod to Dubi for having some dignity.

Posted by nofin22 on November 25, 2008 at 03:56 PM

i thought carcillo won but i voted for dubinsky

Posted by Chaserfan39 on November 25, 2008 at 08:24 PM

Looked like Dubinksy changed his mind about wanting to throw em.

Posted by floggingkittens on November 25, 2008 at 02:39 AM

OK so Carcillo won this fight but it was a crap fight to say the least. Dubinsky went in to protect his goaltender and was clearly the last to drop the gloves. That is obviously not his game and the fact that he threw down with the reining PIM leader in the NHL shows some heart and even though Carcillo was unimpressed with his effort, that game winning goal and gordie howe hat trick I am sure didn't sit well with Carcillo. In the end easy win for Carcillo and I will rank it as such but lets see him take on someone like Orr before he he taunts the crowd with his dismissive wave. Least we forget his dear teammate Fedoruk who I am sure has wonderful stories to tell about standing up to the Rangers PIM leader.

Danny beat ass! Dubinski isn't even in his league. Guess you gotta give him credit for taking one for the team!

Posted by Maxwerm on November 25, 2008 at 02:41 PM

If you want to defend your goalie, make sure you can defend yourself, too. Always happy to see a Ranger get a good drubbing, which this wasn't - edge Pim Carcillo.

Posted by bigjcc526 on November 25, 2008 at 08:21 PM

Do the Rangers ever win fights. I've been watching since the early 70's .Their win % must be in the single #'s.

Posted by nighthawk walt on November 25, 2008 at 07:08 PM

not much of a fight, carcillo wins it with a couple of good ones at the end.

Posted by KJNYR on November 24, 2008 at 10:25 PM

Beat his ass? I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something. I didn't see a KO or blood. Usually that constitues an assbeating. Carcillo gets the win, but please guys. He barely gets the win. Forearm shots to the back don't make it a win. This isin't WWE.

Posted by Behn Wilson on November 24, 2008 at 11:40 PM

Despite the penalty minutes, I still can't take this guy seriously. Nonetheless, I guess you could say that he actually beat a less than menacing ''Lewinsky''.

Posted by DARCY T on November 30, 2008 at 05:00 PM

dubinsky beat himself

Posted by ItalianHunk21 on November 29, 2008 at 12:30 PM

I've seen better fights, Carcillo won this one. Weak fight!

Posted by bukieboy on November 25, 2008 at 07:22 AM

As much as I love Dubinsky's guts and heart, that's how much I hate the fact that Orr has stopped hitting, intimidating and policing the ice for the Rangers. Orr plays pretty well on the 4th line, but he's on the team to dump guys to the ice, not just dump the puck into the corner. Orr should be protecting a young budding star like Dubinsky.

Posted by mrfistykuffs on November 25, 2008 at 08:23 PM

not much of a scrap.

Posted by Ryan44 on November 25, 2008 at 01:07 AM

It was all Carcillo. Dub is a crap fighter.

Posted by PKisel34 on November 24, 2008 at 10:20 PM

Easy win for Carcillo. Credit to Dubinsky for the Gordie Howe hatrick.

Posted by fightmeister77 on November 25, 2008 at 06:52 PM

No middleweight should ever act like a fight was easy even if it was. That being said, Carcillo was too strong for Dubinsky.

Posted by EDDUBBS on November 10, 2010 at 06:47 AM

Carcillo wins and Dubinsky is a punk.

Posted by IrishJimbo on November 26, 2008 at 10:14 AM

Dubi bit off more than he could chew here and basically played D for the whole fight. Credit to him for standing up to Carcillo after him taking a whack at Lundy. Win to Carcillo but not an ass-whopping like a lot of people suggest. No big shots were really landed except the clasless elbow to the back of Dubinsky's head when he was going down. IMO if he's going to motion like that after a mismatch then be prepared to answer the bell in the 2nd with Orr (which he declined).

Posted by billy jack on November 24, 2008 at 10:19 PM

danny boy beat his ass.

Posted by Lucy Brown on November 25, 2008 at 05:32 AM

MCB789- Your a joke pal. Dubs isnt a fighter. Go back to bed troll.

Posted by mikebflorida on November 25, 2008 at 10:21 AM

Dubi was doing ok until Carcillo got loose and then it was curtains. That's to be expected though, Carcillo is a better fighter.

Posted by tpr1960 on November 25, 2008 at 10:30 PM

Dubinsky fights like Monica Lewinsky ! My kid sister could be a Ranger tough guy . Win Carcillo , easy . imissbarnabysass probably won't respond to this fight . You suck like the Rangers !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by tattooedkingpin on November 25, 2008 at 10:49 AM

Dubinsky hung in there for a minute, then it was all Carcillo down the stretch

Posted by staceyb on November 25, 2008 at 05:44 AM

Dubinsky reminds me of "The Count" in the movie "Slap Shot"--a guy who is willing to fight to rally the team but gets pounded in the process. Orr is more in Carcillo's fight class so the results last night were predictable. But Dubo got a goal later in the second period and Joe Micheletti saluted him "for taking a couple on the chin for the team."

Posted by BROWN - KOCUR on November 25, 2008 at 07:56 PM

Dubi should not fight anyone in Carcillo's class especially if your just going to turtle when Carcillo got his arm free. Can't blame DC for giving him the wave because that was such a b*tch move. If you're gonna throw em then throw em, don't hide and wait for a linesmen because you know you're gonna take a few now that his arm is free.

Posted by byvelds68 on November 24, 2008 at 10:47 PM

carcillo beat him down....big win

Posted by brymaster1 on November 24, 2008 at 10:02 PM

carcillo picked it up at the end.

Posted by NYRangers30 on November 25, 2008 at 05:34 PM

Close but Carcillo get my vote 6-4 Dubinsky didnt throw enough punches

Posted by blackgoldfan on November 25, 2008 at 07:59 PM

this was closer then expected. but carcillo still manages to eke out the "W"....albiet barely.

Posted by blues10 on November 25, 2008 at 07:55 AM

Dubinsky likes to fight but gets his ass kicked every night he fights.

Posted by 5 4 Fighting on November 26, 2008 at 07:00 PM

Dubinsky is such a bitch......and is the whle Ranger team.....

Posted by bruins rule on November 24, 2008 at 11:11 PM

Posted by Hendokilla666 on November 24, 2008 at 11:15 PM

fuck all the haters. dubi will mix it up with anyone. clear mismatch here, but hes got balls. noone on this board would tangle with my man thats for sure.

Posted by mcb789 on November 24, 2008 at 10:18 PM

another lost for dubinsky. its been 2 years of dubinsky losing fights. rangers suck.

Posted by plum29 on November 24, 2008 at 11:08 PM

Danny boy hardly fights anymore, good to see him in action.

Posted by Rebel Banker on November 24, 2008 at 10:35 PM

give it up dubi

Posted by prorobo on November 25, 2008 at 01:19 AM

Not being a fan of the Rangers, I'm glad to see someone finally put Dubinsky in his place. The kid seems to think he's tougher than he really is. Granted he's an excellent player and in a short time will be the complete package with fighting ability, but hopefully by then his contract with the Bluefags will be up and some other team gets him. Carcillo with the win and the "nice" elbow to the back of the head (bs move).

Posted by ColtonORRules on November 25, 2008 at 04:10 PM

give credit to dubinsky cuz hes really not that good of a fighter and he went after carcillo whos basically a heavyweight. but regardless carcillo hit dubinsky pretty bad at the end

Posted by BAAAAANNERMAAAN on November 25, 2008 at 10:19 AM

you really picked a brawler to go with carcillo........

Posted by Bruins29 on November 25, 2008 at 10:42 AM

Not much else to say here except...Carcillo beat the crap out of him!

Posted by aces50 on November 26, 2008 at 12:54 PM

Danny Carcillo all the way. Too bad Orr couldn't have dropprd them with DC. You have got to love this middlewieght taking on all comers. Would have loved to see this young gun pound Orr as well. Loved his knock out of Barch last year. This guy is exciting to watch. The end was frustation due lack of fighting skills by BD. Give BD credit he at least had the guts to give it a try. BD started the fight to begin with. Look at the list of players that DC has dropped the gloves with. Quite impressive. you have to love the Ranger fans saying iy was a crap fight or that DC eek it out. Watch the fight and quit whining. DC all the way.

Posted by GaryW on November 25, 2008 at 06:43 AM

I actually called it a draw. I watch it several times in HD and nothing landed .. just a lot of wild swinging. I gave point to DC for more swinging but took points away his actions at the end of the dance. Draw

Posted by QueKay09 on November 25, 2008 at 07:23 AM

what's with the forearm to the back of the head?

Posted by jcstokes on November 25, 2008 at 11:54 AM

Pretty close. Draw. Props to Dubinsky for the goal, fight and assist.

Posted by Sweeney2112 on November 25, 2008 at 10:23 AM

what do you guys see that I don't?

Posted by chad420 on November 24, 2008 at 11:37 PM

DC with a win...BD with some improved fighting from last year,though..the lessons have worked...huge gordie howe hat trick..

Posted by thepolishkid88 on November 24, 2008 at 10:37 PM

Danny was losing but came back and put Dubinsky on his heels to the point where Brandon didnt wanna fight anymore it looked like. Edge to Danny.
