Zenon Konopka vs Daniel Carcillo

Excellent scrap between two evenly matched fighters (i.e. average skills) who got going, and just refused to quit.

Carcillo started out typically ''Carcillian''
with some cheap stick-work,
followed by allowing himself to get out -positioned,
and finally punched to the ice...

But then...

faster than you can say ''pop goes the weasel'',
he springs back up channelling Mel Bridgeman,
and proceeds to launch an impressive comeback
using both hands (somehow) effectively...

Draw out of respect for the great effort from both guys.

Car Bomb got in a couple of heavy shots. Zero Can't Fight Ya was trying to rally the troops with little effect--the Islanders were run off the ice last night.

Awesome tilt, had to call it a draw out of respect for both of them going forever.

Good long fight..
Great endurance by both.
Had Konopka early till Carcillo got his right arm free from his gear.
Shows here that Konopka has a good chin and can take a few without getting rattled.
Slight edge to Carcillo.

This was a really nice fight and effort from both guys.......I believe Mr dirty definately landed the more effective punches.....Come on Big Behn!!!! He was pulled to the ice ...Not punched....i do like the Bridgeman mention tho!!!! Mel was a Rock em sock em fighter back in his Philly days and supremely Dirty!!!!!

Draw, both controlled at different times. Carcillo got an arm loose from the jersey, up until then Konopka had the win hands down. Carcillo is still a full out tool.

Wow I love Konopka, Carcillo took some shots early on but came back with some bombs of his own. Finding it hard to pick a winner so I'm sitting on the fence in this one.

Great long fight, not too many landed though, but a good fight. Konopka landed the better punches, Carcillo landed more. Draw.
