Now THAT'S what I'm talking about !

''Don't hold anything back, now...tell me how you really feel'' - fisticuffs.

McQuaid on points, but, by far...
Poptarts' best effort in years.

Planet Zenon ekes out the win in a terrific bout with McQ.

Another close one, that the Bruin wins on points. Good effort by Konopknop though

Wow !
Great fight...good energy and very close.
Will give the slightest edge to McQuaid for the right he landed at about .16 seconds,
Konopka got his left free at one point but didn't take advantage of it.
Hats off to both.

I give McQ the narrowest of edges. Say what you want about Konopka, but he might be the best technical fighter in the league, in that he minimizes his opponent's advantages as well as anyone. Hard to go against someone that much taller and with that much of a reach advantage, however. I think if this went a little longer it would have ended up closer, or perhaps in Z's favor. But Darth Quaider landed some bombs. In addition, his mullet is starting to look more like a 'fro these days, which in my opinion, is in his favor. He should grow it out like Oglethorpe.

Konopka's fighting style, clearly outdone by his lavish "Planet Zenon" nickname, continues to only impress one person, and his possible next employer... Vince McMahon... A fighter's activity, punch output, connections, stability, and dare I say, ice generalship, is what wins a bout, all of which the Z man lacks in most of his fights and makes it difficult to watch.. If you identify yourself as your team's punisher, the enforcer, then actually "FIGHT" when you drop the gloves, and especially when you instigate... A simple concept.

As for this bout, and it amazes me with the differences in opinion, but each time Z man threw, it was answered... Many misses, some hits, edge to Lone Wolf.. Regarding the homer Edwards, he may be an a%$, but at least he's consistent. You ALWAYS know what you're going to get, and I can respect that, as well as laugh.

Ok I have to keep going back and watching the fight over after reading some of these comments.....Guys why write something that you know is not the truth???? Konopka DID NOT WIN this Fight or even DRAW!!! He HUNG in there and that is all....He might have had more energy at the end but he certainly wasnt landing punches so WTF.....

My favorite Fighter is in the Ahl and is spent.....He's an Honorable Hombre and still as tuff as nails BUT ... IMO His Swtch has been hit Too many times and that effects everything!!!! I'm not going to say he won a fight when he didn't and I would bet he wouldnt say it either........

I like McQuaid.

If I was a Bruins fan I would probably get a McQuaid jersey.

Or a Jack Edwards jersey. Double zero.

Real boss.

Another good one in this game and a lot closer than most of the usual homer comments from Bruin backers. Mcquaid with the early edge and Konopka came on stronger towards the end and probably would have won if it went on longer.
