I always whine on this site because i hate when guys, especially non fighters have to fight after clean hits, but this was a garbage hit by Torres and I enjoy seeing a guy stick up for a teammate and tune him in. Torres is one of those guys that has had that coming for a while, nice job Mr. McQuaid.

McQuaid punishes Rafi Torres. Have the Bostons announcers always been this bad, or have they gotten worse as the result of winning the cup? The moyock announcers from Pittsburgh are worse though.

First off, to the two or three brain surgeons who said that McQuaid never fights anyone his own size, you're jokes. The guy is 6'4"!!! He's bigger than 75% of each teams players to start! Secondly, check out his fight card. This guy is young and tough and he's only getting better and heavier in the next few years! Those few that say he jumped Torres, you're idiots as well! Lol. He hit him face to face, dropped his gloves and started pounding him. Torres knew it was coming, he just couldnt handle McQuaid, plain and simple.

As for boldbilly, and to a lesser degree custombreaks, you two pop up in every Bruin's fight card and make youreselves sound "special bus" ready! lol Seriously dudes, figure it out! Hahaha...and for the love of God, try using a LOWER CASE letter once in a while!!! Lol

Torres is one of the dirtier players in the league, and he throws a lot of elbows, only this time he made the mistake of doing it while McQuaid was on the ice, who responded to the head shot by pummeling Torres for a TKO.

These hits NEED these responces. The people doing the crime should pay the price from either a person on the ice (like McQuaid) or from the hired meathead (Thornton in this case). Thornton should not have to fight BizNasty because of something another player did, he should just `kill`Raffi and all the kids will cry....

Torres didn't have much of a chance in this one, not that it would matter anyway. All McQuaid in this thorough beating. Torres did manage to land one right that gave McQuaid a shiner. Would love to see Marchand get a beating like this. He is rapidly moving up the ladder of dirtiest players in the league.
