Aside from the initial ''duck immediately'' maneuver,
Richards starts well,
only to, eventually, receive the beating
that every ''visored'' fighter deserves.

Captain Richards trying to rally his slumping team gets whomped by a center iceman who makes about one-third what he does. Dubi hasn't had much difficulty in his fights with Richie in the past--this one was no different.

7-0 final. Rangers kick the extra point. The Flyers should have a lovely ride home on the Jersey Turnpike.

First Ovechkin and then Richards try to spark their team by fighting Dubinsky. Both lose to Dubinsky (although Ovi did much better than Richards) and their teams still got blown out. Good effort by Dubinsky.

Talk about taking matters into your own hands...!
I love it, a good fight for Dubinsky.
He seemed to be in control, and lol when Richards lost his lid...the way Dubi's left was tracking and zoning in on Mikie's head.
Props to Richards as well...good Captain who always plays with an edge.

richards got his licks in early, but dubinsky just plumb proves he is a superior fighter. i'd still take the flyer in my lineup any day, but no sense in fooling ourselves and thinking he won this dance. 6.

Hard to say who is a worse fighter, Richards or Hartnell....Win Dubinsky

Richard is a couple notchs down from Dubinsky in the willing lightweights division as the fight shows... but it was worth it to see Dubinsky get plastered with that hit.

Where's the extra minor penalty for fighting with a visor? I guess Philly was losing at the time so the Refs decided to overlook it. The referees in the NHL have become a joke. If one team's losing towards the end of a game you can guarantee they are going on a power play. Why don't they just call penalties when they occur? Easy Win Dubinsky.
