Mike Rupp vs Eric Godard

Rupp with thw better shots Goddard with the finish> Draw.

The happiest player in the NHL is Derek Boogaard since he doesn't have to line up as often opposite Eric Godard. But Rupp held his own in there up until the end. Those rights had to sting.

I was at the game and from my angle it looked like Rupp was taking it to Godard early but looking at the video most of Rupps punches didn't land or they got all helmet. Godard put him down with two hard rights at the end and that gets him the win.

1st fight for Godard as a Pen, held his own pretty well. Landed better and more punches then a takedown. Gotta give him a tiny edge.

Godard will be a lot busier back in the East. Looking forward to seeing him scrap more.

It will be long season for Pittsburgh with out GL and Malone.
