Neil with the win barely. Really good fight, and as a Sabres fan I have to say it's nice to see Gaustad go with Neil and hold his own. Neil is a pretty good fighter. A few more pounds and a little better punching and he'd be a legit heavy.

Neil was bit better here.
Gaustad took it at the end as he jersyed Neil.

Neil is a pitbull. DRAW for sure from a realistic member of the SENS ARMY. Got to callthem like they are. I don't see how 1/2 the fights we wathc could be a winner either way. This like most of those was two tough dudes going at it. Both landing and taking. Great fight!

Gaustad has always had the will to drop the gloves but he has never been very good at it. Neil takes this one.

Neil win here, even with his sweater over his head he still swings and lands.

Great fight! I call it a draw, but a great fight anyway.

call it even. nice move by paul with the hoodie tug and landed a couple of glancing shots. neil is the better brawler of these two though. take neil in a rematch.

Neil is one of the cheapest players in the league. Nice to see an actual hockey player get the best of him.

I thought Neil landed a couple of good shots more than Gaustad. Gaustad needs to learn to throw uppercuts, as he had Neil tied up and ducking down where an uppercut would have done damage. He needs to get together with coach Winnfield and learn the "Inglewood Jack".

How does Gaustad not destroy Neil there? Guys dream of having a player in that position, and he blew it.

Pretty good scrap I give it a draw. Yeah those announcers were homers but hey they were Sens announcers weren't they. I'm sure the Sabres announcers doing the game said something in the favor of Gaustad, that's what they are paid to do. Good to see a non-fighter take on Neil and look pretty good doing it.

Not a great fight but a good one.
I agree with the previous posters-the refs moved in too fast.
You could see the refs ready to break them up even earlier but Neil and Gaustad re engaged.

Miss the old days of fighting when players didn't wear helmets.

Good fight between these two. Not the usual suspects you would expect to see in an Ottawa/Buffalo matchup which made the fight more fun to watch. Neil definitely gets the upper hand in this one, especially since he landed two shots to Gaustad's head with the sweater pulled over his :)
