Despite giving Gaustad his due credit
for coming to the aid of a team-mate...
that last punch broke, what was previously,
a very ''Jim Peplinski-Hanson-brother-looking'' draw

The Goose got cooked with that final right from Westy. Until that point it was even.

Weird fight...
Never seen so many attempts on uppercuts.
From hugfest, to body blows, to uppercuts and a self induced knock down.
Tthe uppercuts by Gaustad were more potent than the overhand by Westgarth ( Gaustad didn't help his cause by leaning back on his heels).
Westgarth looked out of place attempting the return uppercuts after tasting a few himself....not to mention the hair flip as he skated off.
Win Gaustad.

I think the last punch was good punch but not a knock down punch. Gaustad's skates were leading him down prior to the punch. It wasn't a pillow punch by any means. I think Gaustad landed way more quality shots with a string of upper cuts. He seemed un-phased when he got up. I give it to G.

draw....definately not a 5.5 by any means

Guastad had the advantage until Westgarth dropped him at the end.

Both looked good here but not man love haha lol.
EDGE Westgarth who had that good moment in the end, no clean tko/kd punch but he partly putted down Gaustad actually.
Good fight.
I also understand that draw-call.

Did Westgarth actually give the ole "belt " salute? What a chump.

Gaustad early, Westgarth late, draw

Very good Gaustad was against a non-established heavy. Nothing big.

Final blow connects, watch Gaustad's head snap.

It seems liked Gaustad landed a few uppercuts. The only reason I can figure so many votes for Westgarth is they thought that last punch landed clean for a knockdown. I watched it twice and don't think it landed so I'm going clear with for Gaustad.

Westgartth gets the win as he landed the big one at the end. Goose had him early but failed to connect, and Westgarth made him pay. But Gaustad was the first star of the game, and thats what really matters in a hockey game. Good fight though.
