Paul Gaustad vs Adam McQuaid

MCquaid energetically fires,and misses throughout,
while Gaustad decides to spend most of his time
trying to work his way around McQuaid's left,
in a continuously, unsuccessful, attempt
land a looping right over the back.

Or maybe, Gaustad was simply paying personal homage to one of the least entertaining hockey-fighting strategies know to Man.

Goose was hanging on, McQ was throwing them at will but not many if any landed. McQ with the W.

This is probably the longest Gaustad had ever stayed up on his skates in a fight. Now I know why he usually goes to the ice early in fights.

Good spirited bout....
At first glance,I thought McQuaid hands down but second look shows how close it actually was.
I liked the way Gustad ducked under McQ's left arm to get leverage but long story short, McQ. with the better shots landed.
Slight edge to Adam.

McQ has won a lot more than he has lost....

Gaustad actually gets Lone Wolf in a bad spot early. Gaustad has in a head lock and is firing upper cuts on Lone Wolf. Wolfie gets out of it, and it's all payback from there. I'm a howling wolf goin woooooooooo hoooooooooooo hoooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I can't stand Gaustad, but after a week of the habs and lightning it's refreshing that someone will go when prompted. But Mcquaid gets the win on sheer aggression

This fight was closer than it should've been. That was probably the best that I've seen Gaustad do although in a losing effort. I don't think either landed much but it was somewhat entertaining.
