2007-2008 Preseason

Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
Sep 18, 2007 Ottawa Senators Matt Carkner
1pd 06:39 Philadelphia Flyers Riley Cote
Comments: Carkner knocks Steve Downie to the ice with a hit from behind. Cote takes exception and grabs ahold of Carkner. Cote drops his gloves and throws a right while Carkner removes his mitts. Cote throws a left and the two then go toe-to-toe with lefts for a short moment before losing their balance and falling to the ice.

Carkner landed the more solid shots. And took Cote down with the last one he landed. Carkner with the win.

Cote stepped on a piece of equipment.

They each throw about 3 lefts into the other's face - toe to toe style - and then it looks like Carkner lands a left right on the jaw that sends Cote back and down onto his back, pulling Carkner down on top of him.

Nice to see Cote stand up for a teammate.

Hmm...Cote came in and started but got finished, he did alot better against Orr.
Win Carkner.

Cote took 2 bombs to the face which is why he went down. He pulled Carkner down on top of him.

Cote, another product of Philadelphian human engineering, goes after Carkner... apparently for playing hockey!!!! But I love these Philly guys!!!! I'd pay to see them anytime... I swear they grow these guys on a farm!!!!
