Cam Janssen vs Mike Rupp

OK, this time I watched, what I'm guessing is, the Devil's feed...
and it looks as though it was Janssen, and not Boulton,
who allowed Rupp, and not Prust, to get back up,
Seriously...WTF???

This coverage, much like it's predecessor...
is all too, scattered, and silly to review,
but at least the Devil's crew managed to
accidentally stumble upon the value of the ''long shot''...
at least, temporarily.

Janssen by the narrowest of margins. If you saw Torts' volcanic eruption at the end of the game over the waived off goal you'd think he could have whipped both of them with his hands tied behind his back.

Going draw and a 6. Janssen should lear 2 things from this: (1) don't let Rupp back up once you have him down and (2) Rupp tires and rather intelligently calls in the zebras before Janssen can pour it on at the end of the fight while the other guy is tired. This is the second time Rupp has done that to Janssen

Only seeing 50% of a fight = draw.

Cam was better

Rupp used his reach advantage to control a good part of this one, however it didn't appear many punches landed in this one either.

Well THAT'S certainly an old school way to start a game against a division rival. I'll go edge Rupp because of superior reach.

They pairings should have been switched, but what does it matter when the video is that confusing anyhoo.

Excellent bout to start the game. I am giving it to Rupp based on his reach advantage allowing him to miss some of the shots.
