Even in losing... which happens more often, than not...
Rinaldo still manages to maintain his likability factor..

Not an embarrassing loss for Rinaldo to an old warhorse but an L just the same. That uppercut at the opening rattled the grill.

You'd figure with Carkner, Neil and Planet Zenon in the lineup that Peter Laviolette would have skated Shelley for the home and home road game but not so.

Getting hammered by Konopka is nothing to be proud of.

Poptarts shows the kid what an uppercut is all about

ZK just too big and too strong for Zac.
Easy for me to say but can't help feel the slip/fall by Rinaldo was a self assissted bail out...

I'm sure the pregame discussion was about Zenon's wine business. Doing a little marketing. "I've got a great 2009 Malbec you should try, Zac."

Barely a middle-weight contender, Konopka nonetheless shows his experience here against a game Flyer who frankly would be the third or fourth guy in line to fight if we had ANY kind of toughness at all on this team.
We better get deep into the playoffs to make up for this season's many embarassing scraps. Berube, Carkner, Chychrun, Cochrane... there's more toughness in the first three letter of the alphabet than the whole of the current Philly and Adirondack rosters.

Good showing by Zac, I mean blocking that initial uppercut with his face, just great technique there!! Have to give the win to the ever positive Z Konopka!!

The Raccoon suit in Super Mario Bros 3 was badass

The Teddy Bear suit, not so much.

Konopka a little too big and strong for Rinaldo's weight category. Those were some nice uppercuts by Zenon.
