An ''out-themed'' match up, as Rupp...
out-grips, out-reaches, out-punches,
out-smarts, and out-yanks Barney Rubble...
who responds with his patented ''out-last'' maneuver.

The win goes to Rupp. Cam Janssen apparently didn't read the three-part NY Times feature on Derek Boogaard and degenerative brain disease.

Not a great fight actually, Rupp wore out early and the human punching bag Janssen couldn't reach him. I feel for Janssen, if he isn't a guy that is going to have serious brain issues by 50, I don't know who is.

Cam is just too small and Rupp too experienced

I have a hard time giving the win to Rupp...
Yes, he got punches in early but Janssen was coming back and Rupp knew it.
Rather than weather the storm on an empty gas tank, he Quit and asked the linesmen to bail him out early !
Going Draw.

Janssen has one hell of a motor. His conditioning has to be off the charts....
And I really think I saw Prust and Boulton actually say "Merry Christmas" to one another while they were talking.

What is wrong with Janssen ??? Have they studied him and figured him out as a one dimensional fighter?? who IMO is as Tuff as nails

comeback win for Cam J...halfway through Rupp was trying to take him down...he definately peetered out and then asked the ref to jump in

Cam doesnt look very good this year. Rupp did enough to get the W in the first 30 seconds.

Rupp uses his left arm death grip to completely nullify Janssen's only weapon and only tactic at the same time. Not the most entertaining of bouts but easy win Rupp.

Welcome back Rupper. Got some good shots in whilst in tight then used his height to fend Janssen off.

Torts looks like a mouse sniffing some funky cheese.

Rupp wins and I think Boulton wanted Prusty

Good start for Rupp, but I didn't like how he was trying to end the fight with a clinch during the second half. The early flurry of noogies from Rupp wasn't quite enough to earn a victory. Draw here.

Giving the edge to Rupp in this bout. Good start to the game from both teams after this one.
