After getting tagged, at least, 19 consecutive times in the head...

you'd think that Stortini might have eventually considered

actually throwing his right,

as opposed to leaving it welded to his forehead,

in the most unsuccessful punch-blocking strategy known to man.

Stortini really needs to stop

the unintentionally- masochistic carnage.

Barch is certainly no peach,

but can you imagine Semenko saying...

''touch Gretzky again, and I just might come over there,

and hug the living crap out of you'' ?

Stortini = no show.

What was that? I never defend Stortini's hugfests, but I am guessing he must have a damage hand, he usually at least tries. he had chances to throw them and didn't and when he did they were little push rabbit punches.

I agree with RUGBY. The cliche of pumping your team up or "just showing up" doesn't make sense. How can any team get pumped when one of your teammates hangs on for dear life and constantly gets smoked is beyond me.

That was a horrific display of defence,..
If you know you're goin to get hit, you may as well throw some and perhaps get a lucky one in.
Unfortunately,Zack's stocks have hit an all time low.
Made himself and the Oilers look bad in this one.
Hunch that his days with the Oilers (and the show) are numbered...

See, See! If they let Barch get up against Vandermeer, it could have been a great fight. Mix the Barch of this fight with Vandermeer, and it's fight of the year potential. The linesmen couldn't let Barch get back up off the ice and fight.

Zack Zack Zack......why do you fight?

was that Ripen imitation for real......that was so fricken pitiful.....Rip blocks then counters off it with a quick jab....and only does that when he has a guy like Zack who throws big wide punches

i feel sorry for Zack and really think Edmonton has to look in the mirror and get Zack to stop with this charade....he is not a fighter

I have no Idea how this fight and Barch's first fight are even near each other in rating..........that said.....I have never liked Stortini as a fighter but I think he was just too spent to fight!!!!! Maybe he was doing the other thing he is -paid to do............Playing Hockey!!!!!! ;)

I still liked this fight!!!!

oh stortini. was he doing anything besides working on his new hulk hogan arm block? barch wears himself out pummelling stortini. stortini is most certainly hurt here, and he's no coward, he took an absolute hammering and stayed on his skates. barch and 5.

boy its too bad after their fierce playoff battles of the past that these two teams went in such different directions. what a gnarly rivalry.

Barch, Stortini usually has a bit more activity than that it did look like something was off, usually doesn't look much better but you know what i mean.

this is a new low for Stortini. i have to say im truly amazed with his effort in this fight. He took it from Barch like a Prison Bitch.

Only one willing combatant here. Barch really put a hurting on Stortini, who really isn't good at this.

Good long battle, Stort's didn't really want nothing to do with it and Barch needed to make a mend for the early poor performance, good bout, win Barch

Stortini goes in for the hug (surprise surprise) and take down, fails, then puts on a great show for almost a full minute on how big of a ***** he really is.

This guy is a total joke and shame on the Oilers for dressing this guy night in and night out as a "tough guy".

Those Stars girls looked tired....I suggest they sit down for a bit.....

on my face.
