we now can see that Kurtis' off-season training method of driving fence posts into the ground w/his fists has paid off remarkably.. Liambas all man as he endures a throttling... #56 FTW

MacDermid uses a six inch height davantage and his freakish Worrellian reach... to relentlessly pound an "a little worse for wear" Liambas directly into and through the LA ice I bow to the legendary VonSwine's fence post analogy Brilliant stuff from the only guy who caught the origins of someone's "cop on a horse" McLeod reference

liambas is a gamer.his 3rd fight in a week but he was clearly overmatched here by big macdermid.thanks to his reach advantage macdermid was throwing at will even though he mostly grazed the back of the head or shoulder...all macdermid and 6

The one person who voted Michael Liambas as the winner should be ashamed of themselves. It was an absolute domination. You rarely get to see that many true haymakers thrown, so even if it was super lopsided, I'd say a better fight than many. Also, Quick counting out the punches in the background gives it a +1 in my book.

Total Beat Down!

Posted by nait on November 26, 2017 at 07:03 PM

Quick was loving it

I fear Michael Liambas will get beat up often in this league, if he keeps employing the ring around the rosie style of pugilism. Not even close, win Big Mac.

Posted by GoonVisor on November 27, 2017 at 04:38 PM

Did McD’s last punch actually go around the back of Liambas’ head and strike him on the right side of the head?

Posted by EK65 on November 28, 2017 at 01:12 PM

Nothing quite says "hey, don't hurt our players" like getting your face punched in. All MacDermid.

Posted by legend22 on November 26, 2017 at 10:01 AM

Liambas continues his quest to fight everyone in the league and get an old fahion ass whooping. Then sits on the bench looking like he just walked away from a bad car accident.

David vs Goliath in this one......Goliath by more than a Stones throw,

All size and superior balance here. That was just a masterclass in big-guy Hockey Fighting. Liambas is still the king of old-school, normal-sized guys though.

MacDermid destroys Liambas

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on November 26, 2017 at 08:14 AM

All MacDermid obviously but when did that punch land that gave Liambas the black eye? Looked like all helmet and side of the head shots.

Posted by smichaels10 on November 27, 2017 at 06:10 PM

MacDermid was just chucking haymakers. Liambas couldn't even get situated.

Really one sided

Posted by bigmike53 on November 26, 2017 at 03:12 PM

MacDermid used his reach and just pulverized Liambas. Ouch. Clear win MacDermid.

Posted by jerry s on December 04, 2017 at 06:21 AM

macdermid had a huge height and reach advantage and used it well but kudos to liambas for not hiding

Posted by lilTootoo on November 29, 2017 at 11:15 AM

Liambas is dumb and tough

Posted by ghaffartheforgi on November 26, 2017 at 03:44 AM

Would've been better if MacDermid wasn't prepared but he was ready

Posted by BennyD on November 27, 2017 at 09:58 AM

Liambas stepped out of his comfort zone. Clear W for MacDermid.

WOW!!! Liambas goes after a huge dude. For his trouble he got destroyed. McDermid beats him to the ice but shows good sportsmanship by easing him down after the last punch. Liambas is showing serious battle scars from his last fight...he is really taking a lot of damage. Perhaps the kid should at least try and stay in his division. He won't last long if he keeps this up. The little fella is 2 and 1 but the other two guys were his size. He fights like Frazier. "You hit me, I hit you." That works if the other guy isn't 6'5" and 230.

I have a few words on this fight...I apologize formally to those unwise folks that do not appreciate posts that are teens in their totality. Those posts that state he (MacDermid) only hit helmet, shoulder pad or back do not know doodly squat about being punched or fighting, because WHATEVER punches Big Mac was landing we’re keeping his opponent down, the inability to counterpunch or stand up and therefore he was pounded to the ice. Perhaps, I am to critical, but after reading these “silver lining “ posts I want vomit! Yes! Props to the ducks for the effort, but I don’t care if he is a rookie or if he has had 3 fights and received a black eye from his boyfriend...he dropped the gloves with a dude that beat him and his ass to the ice, and if he wanted to most likely could have drove him into the foundation of that shithole (Honda Center.) Where is that bag of dicks ducknation? Blow those duck calls $hitheads.

Note to small dudes: Sometimes the big man will kick your ass and make you look silly. Stick to fighting dudes your own size...

Beat down city .Liambis has NHL heart AHL talent.

Excellent job.

MacDermid preformed as he usually does: top notch. He had a huge reach advantage (he is 6’5” of course). He allowed Liambas to make contact maybe once or twice, but neither was a good punch. MacDermid, however, managed to demolish Liambas. You could see the hurt as Liambas skated to the penalty box. This far in, this was - in my opinion - one of the (if not THE) best fights of the season. MacDermid did a fantastic job of blocking and landed almost every shot (there may have been one that he missed, but you couldn’t see that well from the videos.) MacDermid will go far in the hockey fight world.

Posted by Humper on November 26, 2017 at 12:16 PM

Liambas could have won this easily if he had managed to pull off, oh say, about another twenty punches more than he did.

Posted by snowave on November 26, 2017 at 11:30 AM

McD with the win, but probably in more pain after bloodying his knuckles with all those punches to the helmet. I believe Liambas' black eye came from the fight 2 nights ago.

Posted by Vito514 on November 26, 2017 at 02:36 AM

Absolutely beautifull. Macdermid is a beast. Ballsy move by liambas but

Posted by paddyd on November 27, 2017 at 03:33 PM

Liambas not going to last to long in the NHL. He's a punching bag.

Posted by travist on November 27, 2017 at 05:50 PM

Back to the minors...

Posted by bukkakeaisu on November 27, 2017 at 12:07 AM

MacDermid is a beast!

Posted by sedinfan on November 26, 2017 at 12:44 PM

Liambas needs to learn how and when to pick his battles. Short NHL career if he is going to take on guys like this. Looked like Hulk Hogan fighting Danny Devito

Posted by Hilaker on November 26, 2017 at 11:16 AM

Well that wa not close. Liambas needs to stay in his lane otherwise stuff like this happens.
