I'm no fan of Dorsett, but giving the fight to Miller is just wrong. Dorsett threw a lot of punches with most missing or catching helmet. Miller connected a noogie to the back of the head, one to the helmet and one to the shoulder. At best he got a draw out of this. Either people are drinking the Jack Edwards Kool-Aid or you're just a bunch of homers.

i just don't see it everyone, and i'm a Bs fan. going draw.

A leprechaun vs a guy whose parents don't know how to spell.

Posted by FaxCap on October 20, 2017 at 04:51 PM

Dorsett got a lot of punches in but Miller came on strong late in the fight for a slight win. Gotta love the typical HOMER Boston play by play guy saying Miller stunned Dorsett. The helmet slipped down over Dorsett's eyes. But Boston's broadcast crew are the worst homers in the whole league. You have to beat a Bruin to pulp before they will say "he lost".

Got to give it to Dorsett for at least throwing some punches. Not many landed but he tried to go. Miller did nothing but grab and hold until the end. Give the win to DD in a 4.5.

Pretty close fight. Gonna call it a draw. What a start to the year all round for Dorsett.

Posted by toy boy dan on October 20, 2017 at 05:11 PM

Same old Boston votes, at lease Dorsett tried.

Posted by JDelaney on October 26, 2017 at 11:31 PM

Give Dorsett credit for the win. Miller's dangerous but not a good technical fighter. He's very strong but struggled to land a punch.

Posted by nait on October 20, 2017 at 09:42 AM

Dorsett started strong throwing a lot but Millers were the ones that landed

Posted by rocky 1 on October 26, 2017 at 01:33 AM

Dorsett with the win on points. At the end it was more of a push down then a knock down by Miller. But its in Boston so unless you knock there guy out your unlikely to get the win!

Posted by GSP09 on October 21, 2017 at 10:30 AM

10 punches to 1 for Dorsett.

Posted by jrreiver on October 20, 2017 at 03:13 PM

can you say a draw

Posted by jbaktai on October 20, 2017 at 07:16 PM

Have agree with Humper, not a fan of Dorsett but he won this fight. Dorsett landed the majority of punches and cleanest ones as well. Miller landed a few to the back of the helmet and fell on him. Win Dorsett.

Dirsett with the quantity Miller with the quality as double D comes up short once again

Posted by Dammit-Man on October 20, 2017 at 02:42 AM

Dorsett had a string of misses and helmet shots, watch the slo-mo, once Miller got started it was a Beantown Beatdown

Posted by WhaleBoy on October 26, 2017 at 11:41 PM

don't see how Derek Dorsett won this. He punched air throughout the fight Maybe he got a punch in at the beginning but Miller got the bigger, fuller blows. Edwards was the usual homer. Dorsett wasn't stunned. He just eventually succumbed to the bigger and stronger Miller.

Total draw

Posted by jerry s on October 22, 2017 at 06:31 AM

draw dorsett was busier but didn't land a lot miller landed a few and take down

Posted by daveb63 on October 20, 2017 at 12:35 PM

Kevan can destroy when he's pissed. Dorsett's windmill. Seen better from both.

Posted by cag on October 21, 2017 at 03:10 PM

Miller usually takes a few and then unloads a haymaker at the end for the KO. Not sure what happened with this one, but Dorsett is lucky he didn't have his head smashed in. Lame fight.

Posted by DARCY T on November 23, 2017 at 10:18 AM

i was wrong about dorsett couple days ago when he fought 1st time this season and i thought he fought only 3 times last season because he didnt want to.he played only 14 games due tu injury. i dont understand how anybody could give this to miller.dorsett was active in the fight and landed some good shots as a smaller player.the only reason why i wouldnt call it in dorsett's favor is the end of the fight when miller threw to punches to back of dorsett's head took him down.but no way miller won the fight

Draw

Posted by mr. puttzo on October 21, 2017 at 07:18 AM

Dorsett doesn't win many scraps but he won this one

Posted by Jesticle on November 01, 2017 at 08:25 AM

Boston homers. Double D got the best of your pet on this night. Way more landed by DD.

Posted by Jellyczar on October 21, 2017 at 09:07 AM

I didn't know Dorsett was still playing... wow ... always game but gets slightly bested by Miller.

Posted by BruinManiac on October 21, 2017 at 08:42 PM

Dorsett is consistent. He consistently loses every fight. Rack it up. Another Bruins victory.

Posted by hal29 on October 23, 2017 at 10:41 PM

Dorsett just wanted to hold on to Millers right arm. He knows Miller can do damage. Dorsett came up short. Miller landed a couple but nothing to do any real damage. Slight edge to Miller and a 4.

Posted by Lucic_Power on October 21, 2017 at 09:04 PM

It only takes 1 landed punch for Miller to turn the tables and put the other guy on defensive. Hes patient and waits for that. As seen here.

Posted by NAILS13 on October 21, 2017 at 11:18 PM

Sure Dorsey threw more, that means Miller took more and still stood square. I got hands softer than the Pilsbury doughboy and if you think that closer to the back of the head ain't much, I volunteer to prove your point.

Posted by hubofhockey on October 21, 2017 at 07:52 AM

I don't think dorsett landed anything, he had a good grip on Miller's shirt which probably saved his life. Slight edge Miller

Posted by Ecce72 on November 03, 2017 at 05:49 AM

Kevan Miller never gets tired and is too strong for most to handle

Posted by 18buell on October 21, 2017 at 02:27 PM

I thought that was a good fight between two battle tested warriors. Edge Miller. Can't wait to see if Evander Kane will step up tonight as he challenged Miller from a far the last time the Sabres and Bruins met.

Posted by edwardraffoni on October 20, 2017 at 03:40 PM

Miller is just a better fighter than Dorsett. Dorsett did a good job of tying Miller up early on.But most of the time, class will tell and Miller is definitely a better all around fighter than Dorsett. He's going to beat Dorsett most of the time. Edge Miller in a close one.

Posted by tpr1960 on October 20, 2017 at 04:34 PM

K. Miller gets the "Hal Gill Award" for biggest dufuss in the NHL. Lil Dewik Dowsett is just annoying, but I am sure Boston mental midgets get aroused over this goof. Draw and boring.

Posted by Orielly on November 08, 2017 at 10:17 AM

Miller waits until Dorsett tires out and then just hammers him.

Posted by Wooly on October 21, 2017 at 11:45 AM

pretty even fight

Posted by Mounty in NC on November 12, 2017 at 07:52 AM

DD landed more while Miller landed ONE single good shot. I'll go with a draw but could see DD as well. No chance in hell you could unbiasedly vote for Miller

Posted by slambo on October 23, 2017 at 03:57 AM

Dorsett out tickled Miller in this one. No damage done by either woman, but Dorsett clearly showed that she wanted it more...DD/3

Posted by Hitem hard on October 23, 2017 at 02:44 PM

Dorsett landed the more punches. Miller had one strong punch to the helmet of Miller pushing it over his face. Dorsett wins in the real world. In fantasy land Jack Edwards continues streak of no Bruin ever losing a fight.

Posted by Jez-x on October 19, 2017 at 08:45 PM

Kevan Miller's first fight and win of the season.

Posted by English_Bruin on October 23, 2017 at 12:20 PM

Dorsett landed two of little significance and the rest were just misses. He did the right thing and fell over before Miller could issue the mandatory beatdown. Cant say I blame him. Dorsett tried but ultimately failed allowing Kev in this case a narrow win.

Posted by Great Murray on October 21, 2017 at 02:00 AM

Dorsett landed 10 punches. Miller landed three to the back of Dorsett's helmet. Easy win for Dorsett...forget the lame ass Boston voters.

Posted by bigtimecrime on October 20, 2017 at 12:09 PM

I am not a hater...but this is just so freakin' ridiculous. I have watched NHL hockey now since 1978 and maybe it is because I am getting older....but I don't remember a player having this many fighting majors in their career and not winning any of them. I suppose he must have won a couple at one point...but as I scanned through his fight videos I watched a number of them and just gave up. I couldn't find one. This guy is just such a complete clown. No...he isn't courageous.... he's just basically stupid.

Posted by bigmike53 on October 25, 2017 at 10:29 PM

Even scrap with no damage done.

Posted by hockeyrules999 on October 21, 2017 at 09:54 PM

Lot of Bruins fans here... they don't have much to get excited about. But please.. Easy Dorsett win.

Posted by nuckles88 on October 20, 2017 at 01:23 PM

Who is giving this fight to Miller? No problem with the guy but he did nothing but fall on top at the end. At least Dorsett was doing something and landing shots

Posted by Teej22 on October 20, 2017 at 09:19 AM

Dorsett did a good job of tying Miller up and getting the machine gun going but once Miller gets one good punch in Dorsett, like most of Miller's opponents, lost interest in continuing.

Posted by defusious on October 20, 2017 at 10:20 AM

Good bout. Give the edge to Miller on the take-down, but some solid blows landed by Dorsett.

Posted by adamv9377 on October 20, 2017 at 02:41 PM

Dorsett landed punches early with no damage.... Miller hammered Dorsett with his first punch and ended with his second punch. TKO Miller

Posted by BigBadBruins68 on October 20, 2017 at 02:28 PM

Dorsett starts out pretty strong, but then Kevan "The Killer" Miller comes back and appears to stun him with a few heavy rights to take the win in a close one. Hope to see plenty more of Miller fighting this year.

Posted by puckstopper30 on October 21, 2017 at 10:02 AM

Close but Miller with the edge. If the fight had gone another 10 seconds, Dorset would be hurting. Early on Dorset was throwing to keep Miller away, but that had run out.

Posted by ironbar44 on October 20, 2017 at 03:14 PM

DORSETT broke his cherry

Posted by Jaxman2002 on October 20, 2017 at 12:28 PM

Miller is a strong dude...it's good Dorsett went down because Miller was just getting going.

Posted by GoonVisor on October 21, 2017 at 04:37 PM

Lots of votes for Dorsett. At first glance I thought Dorsett and a 3-4 for lack of punches landing. I watched it again. Once Miller finally gets position, he lands hard head/neck shots. Derek felt it. Kevan and a 5

Posted by moneybags on October 20, 2017 at 05:58 PM

Dorsett threw a lotta punches but Millers hit the spots

Posted by jhuffman21 on October 20, 2017 at 03:25 PM

Close fight but Miller won the fight when he landed the last couple shots that knocked Dorsett down. If it weren't for Miller causing damage at the end of the fight it would have been a draw. But good fight overall.

Posted by squarepizza on October 24, 2017 at 11:01 PM

Seemed like almost all of Dorsett's punches missed. Miller caught him when it mattered. Stunned him and took him down. Advantage Miller
