Ummm.. miller landed maybe 2 decent shots? Two good young fighters.. Deslauriers landed more.. Win Deslauriers. Boston homers on here clearly.

Posted by Humper on October 18, 2014 at 10:21 PM

I'm inclined to think this was close enough to call it a draw. Neither seemed to land anything close to serious. BTW, "Clear win Deslauriers" was the verdict declared by BostonSucks. Can we truly believe that call is totally impartial?

Posted by thevelvetfog1 on October 19, 2014 at 12:55 AM

I might hate Boston more than anyone, but I call this fight 3-0 for Miller. 3 solid shots by Miller (one on the kisser that drew blood) and I couldn't find anything other than glancing taps by Deslauriers. I don't count any injuries that occurred as a result of the takedown as Miller had the upper hand on the takedown, too.

Posted by doobi1 on October 18, 2014 at 11:53 PM

Good scrap as is always the case with Miller. but hey, ya gotta love the new kid from Buffalo, who stood his ground and threw a couple good ones as well. A draw in a good one. I think the Boohooin hurt his little arm. Waaah!

Posted by Great Murray on October 19, 2014 at 10:43 AM

I am glad I did not have to listen to Jack Edwards' call on this one. They both went at it pretty good. Deslauriers landed more and gets the win. Take out the homer votes it would have been 80/20 for the Sabre. It is a waste of a keystroke to vote on any fight involving a Boston player. That's probably the same reason that the country got stuck with Teddy Kennedy for so many years!

MILLER hurts his shoulder .he took two overhands .but landed more late

Posted by Behn Wilson on October 18, 2014 at 11:35 PM

Well now will you look at that... Two guys that actually know what they're doing hook up for what turns out to be the most entertaining (albeit brief and drawish) fight so far this season Hope Miller's ok We can't afford to lose any of the scant few guys left with credible grit and technique

Posted by shawnrocks on October 18, 2014 at 10:16 PM

miller gave him a good stunner then threw out his shoulder

Posted by Dudepiston on October 19, 2014 at 11:01 AM

In jack Edwards opinion total domination by miller.

Posted by sedinfan on October 19, 2014 at 01:16 AM

Pretty good draw in a season that has had a lot of bad fights. Miller looks like he may need his shoulder repaired.

Posted by EK65 on October 18, 2014 at 10:46 PM

Watched the fight a few times and I'm still unable to come to a conclusion other than a draw... Highly entertaining 6 & Draw

Posted by bigmike53 on October 18, 2014 at 11:08 PM

These two guys can really fire the punches! Pretty even bout with some give and take from both boys. Draw. Unfortunately Miller hurt his arm or shoulder during the fall.

Posted by DARCY T on October 31, 2014 at 07:55 PM

good solid draw

Posted by mainsail on October 19, 2014 at 04:55 PM

How someone could rate this 80/20 for either player completely escapes me. A draw if I ever saw one. It also puzzles me how someone could whine about how useless it is to vote in any fight involving a Bruin and then vote here. If you don't like the game don't play it.

Posted by bruins34 on October 19, 2014 at 12:22 PM

Good fight. I think Deslauriers landed a solid right early on with Miller returning the favor towards the end. This one's a draw. It also looks like the Bruins will have to fall back on McQuaid as there sole source of fighting majors for a bit as that shoulder looked a bit dislocated judging by Miller's body language.

Posted by rgnomsayin on January 17, 2016 at 12:00 AM

How is this anything but a draw?

Posted by Cruncher on October 26, 2014 at 08:47 PM

Deslauriers, clearly with the upper hand unless your a homer which in Latin is el homo Bruino

Posted by pinney29 on October 18, 2014 at 11:31 PM

Not seeing the clear win for Miller? Looked draw or edge Deslauriers..

Posted by glovedropper08 on October 18, 2014 at 11:27 PM

Two good fighters. Pretty close, unfortunately miller wasn't able to return after the fight. Going Draw.

Posted by boldbilly on October 19, 2014 at 09:14 AM

In a very close fight the slight edge goes to deslauriers.......having said that Deslauriers is fortunate that none of those Miller bombs ever connected. Win Deslauriers

Posted by GSP09 on October 21, 2014 at 05:17 PM

Deslauriers clear winner.

Posted by Hilaker on October 18, 2014 at 10:13 PM

Good mean spirited bout. There was evil intent with those punches. But not many found the mark. Edge toDelauriers.

Posted by Old Grouch on October 19, 2014 at 06:13 PM

Deslauriers landed more precise & solid shots than Miller did. Miller got Deslauriers with one good shot but prior to that Deslauriers landed at least three shots to the jaw and side of the head of Miller.

Posted by GO16 on October 19, 2014 at 02:48 PM

Gotta be a lot of idiots from Boston voting here !!! Miller left for the dressing room after the fight !!!

Posted by jnblose on October 19, 2014 at 09:41 AM

Give it to the young Sabre. He tired at the end, but overall looked to get the better of it in a close bout.

Posted by kyhammer on October 19, 2014 at 11:02 AM

Almost a draw. Slight edge to Deslauriers.

Posted by Buddy507 on October 21, 2014 at 03:40 AM

Deslauriers landed the better punches early and landed more consistantly. Miller had a little more hate behind his punches failed to connect with most. Good fight, slight edge to Deslauriers.

Posted by DanEnnis on October 26, 2014 at 07:53 PM

This is best sabres fight yet.

Posted by 777Big on October 18, 2014 at 10:24 PM

Edge Miller. More effective.

Posted by Dammit-Man on October 19, 2014 at 12:57 AM

Looked like a decent Scrap, Draw, Miller Looked to Injure his wrist or forearm on the way down, but, hard to tell with the ref Blocking the view

Posted by Friartuck on November 05, 2014 at 10:07 PM

Two parts to this one, early on Deslauries was landing some pretty quick hammers and the second part Miller started serving "Fist fillet". I though Deslauriers did enough in the early part of the fight to make up for his tap out at the end.

Posted by Nashvillewayne on October 19, 2014 at 10:24 AM

Good fight. I'd call it a draw.

Posted by Biggus on October 19, 2014 at 11:01 AM

Great, mean spirited scrap here. Can't see a clear winner. Hope Miller's arm is OK.

Posted by ederion on October 19, 2014 at 05:12 AM

Good, even fight Nice spirit by both

Posted by hockeyrules999 on October 19, 2014 at 12:00 AM

Bruins decided to keep tougher guys...instead of Boychuk skills. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Posted by wyldthing on October 19, 2014 at 12:28 PM

Good fight, draw for me, Sabre's fan here but hope Miller is ok, hate to see someone get hurt in a fight !!

Posted by bigjcc526 on October 21, 2014 at 09:16 AM

Deduct a point from Miller as he's one of the obvious roid b's guys. Look at his meteoric rise at 26. Draw

Posted by rowbearprobear on October 19, 2014 at 05:55 AM

Draw. Turned off volume on the chance Jack Edwards was spewing his vile rhetoric. Could go Deslauries as Miller's shoulder was laying on the ice afterward.

Posted by mff500 on October 18, 2014 at 10:14 PM

Miller landed or connected with 3 solid shots to the side of Deslauriers head. Miller avoided all but one shot.

Posted by Jaxon on October 24, 2014 at 12:18 PM

Well Kinga101, that whole paragraph makes allot of sense to me (especially the last sentence) ! ?? (LOL)

Posted by travist on October 20, 2014 at 03:18 PM

speaking of a waste of keystrokes...ladies and gentlmen...the great murray! go back to your cave and invent fire...

Posted by kkdowning on October 27, 2014 at 01:52 PM

That was a good one, probably a very slight edge to Kevan Miller

Posted by chad420 on October 19, 2014 at 12:07 PM

Decent bout....win Miller Light...hope his shoulder isnt fubar

Posted by moneybags on October 18, 2014 at 10:49 PM

Good comeback by Miller...with Robins sent down expect more Bs to get hurt, stupid move sending him down

Posted by hal29 on October 19, 2014 at 11:14 AM

Win Miller.

Posted by ghjkfdhgfd on October 19, 2014 at 07:09 PM

miller

Posted by The Mad House on October 19, 2014 at 01:29 AM

Kevan Miller is a Bruin through and through.. Perfect fit for that team.. He's a solid scrapper and plays the hockey we love This Deslaurier fella is no slouch either Can't wait to see more of these two youngens Miller takes this

Posted by Ripper on October 19, 2014 at 12:37 PM

Good scrap , good effort by both players. Too bad about Millers shoulder hope its nothing too serious!

Posted by cycle on October 18, 2014 at 11:08 PM

Miller was more effective

Posted by Canner on January 31, 2015 at 12:07 AM

I'll take a Miller over a Pepsi anytime close one, though Wait till Miller perfects the old LB over/under combo. With his air, some suckahs gonna be losin some bouts in the late rounds (assuming zebras let em go)

Posted by nickfotiu on October 18, 2014 at 11:37 PM

miller rocked him

Posted by Transitcaptd8 on December 02, 2014 at 10:19 PM

Looked like Miller in a good close scrap. Miller throws w mean intentions.

Posted by BruinsAllDaySon on October 19, 2014 at 09:38 AM

Looked very much draw when I was watching live just because of how intense these guys were throwing. Upon watching subsequent replays, Miller takes a good one on the button early but delivers a couple solid ones mid and late after taking complete control after an entertaining first gun slinging exchange. Hurt his shoulder when he went down which is a shame. I don't what the people saying that 'nothing landed' were watching, some good punches landed in this one.

Posted by jhowell998 on October 24, 2014 at 01:40 PM

Miller with some good rights to the face.

Posted by tinman27 on October 19, 2014 at 05:01 PM

Very close fight

Posted by FightJudge46 on October 19, 2014 at 10:15 AM

Deslauriers got a couple of early shots in but it is not how you start but how you finish and Miller finished real strong. Edge to Miller.

Posted by thundacat on October 19, 2014 at 01:44 AM

Deslauriers didn't land one solid punch. If the helmet rule wasn't in effect Miller might've tko'ed him with a few of his shots.

Posted by 113438 on October 18, 2014 at 11:57 PM

Close fight. Miller was taking a few good shots early on but came on strong the last half of the fight.

Posted by Dross_jr on October 19, 2014 at 02:35 AM

Win: Miller Rate: 6 Very close fight

Posted by Massive Coiler on October 18, 2014 at 10:07 PM

Not factoring in that hurt arm, that was most likely caused by the fall, this fight is a draw. Pretty good, not a lot of huge shots landing, but entertaining nonetheless.

Posted by Amerkfan8 on October 24, 2014 at 12:24 AM

Fight was a draw, but Miller got hurt.

Posted by Z.Zalapski on October 23, 2014 at 12:38 PM

This Deslauriers looks like he could be something. Smart fighter with some size (like a plus middleweight).

Posted by TERMINATOR on October 20, 2014 at 01:07 AM

Very close...prolly tie but Miller seemed to miss with some uppercuts and he landed he would have won.

Posted by habssuck on October 18, 2014 at 10:41 PM

Miller rocked him with a few hard rights, one lifted the Frenchman of his feet!

Posted by Jim02351 on October 19, 2014 at 07:50 AM

Decent fight, too bad Miller got hurt on the pull down.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on October 31, 2014 at 12:31 AM

Although Millar left for repairs, I have to give him the fight. He had the most solid punches. That said, I am really impressed with Deslauriers. He went balls to the wall in this one, wish it had lasted longer.

Posted by Orr Fourever on October 19, 2014 at 12:26 AM

Miller with the win of course....

Posted by Hatebgred on October 18, 2014 at 10:04 PM

Miller controlled and got stronger as the fight went on, injury was clearly on the takedown and had nothing to do with deslauriers

Posted by Boston Sucks on October 18, 2014 at 09:39 PM

Miller went to the dressing room afterwards and never returned. Clear win DESLAURIERS

Posted by kinga101 on October 18, 2014 at 11:50 PM

If someone can't return after a fight, they lose period!!! What is so hard for people to understand about that??? I always vote for who I would rather be at the end, not who appears to win or lose.

Posted by Reggie Fleming on October 19, 2014 at 12:25 AM

Great fight..hate the eye shields..ruined it some. I don't wish injuries on anyone, but I thank God that it looks like Miller broke his arm. I hate the Bruins even more than the Leafys.
