Damn, I absolutely hate Canadienne fans. Biggest pack of p*ssies with their whiny-ass posts. We all know the ones with the same BS post after post...thinking their 50 lines of text make their comments any less embarrassing. Vive les chattes......and how their posts, "lol".... so imaginative.

If getting carried off by teammates with jello like limbs makes you a winner, then this bout belongs to Travis Moen. If being the guy who makes the other dude have jello like legs after the fight then you have to vote for Miller!

Posted by The Mad House on March 24, 2014 at 10:47 PM

Three knock downs in one fight?! I love that! Kevan Miller is a seriously tough kid.. But as sedinfan alluded to, Moen should think about hanging them up Or maybe stop fighting. Great scrap boys.

Posted by Boston Garden on March 24, 2014 at 10:53 PM

Miller scrambles Moen's brains. Easy KO win Miller. I'm sure Boldbilly and the rest of the Habs homers are crying about losing the only player on the Habs that actually plays and fights from time to time. @ GSP, Bahahahaha. The Habs flopping and turtling all night was flat out embarrassing but typical of Montreal. Hilarious that Miller knocked out 2 Habs on one shift. Typical Montreal tonight, and typical Montreal homers giving Moen sympathy votes. Pathetic rat hockey played by the cowardly Scabs tonight.

Posted by fight-fan on March 25, 2014 at 09:47 PM

Miller with the TKO. Relax haters this was an everyday crosscheck causing Weise to lose his balance, nothing more..Moen did the right thing & responded but fell short, hopefully he's alright. Habs fans accusing the B's of bullying the Habs because their was no enforcers on the ice? I guess they forgot about the previous gm. when all the so called enforcers with the exception of Parros played. This didn't stop Lucic from using Emelin as a crash dummy all night. Also, these "great fans of hockey" crying over Chara's respone to a Emelin hip check while Subban' s forearm shiver to the back of Boychuck's head in response to a hip check is ok, but Boychuck's retaliation is called dirty? Then calling for a Lucic suspension for spearing Emelin while Prust does the same thing to Ben Bishop. Where was all this outrage then?. All this dirty play by the B's & Murray did nothing? I guess that doesn't say much for him. TY Habs fans for proving the stereotypes of you all being whiners while only having the good old days, what could of been & that #24 to talk about.

Wow. Devastating knockout in this fight. I think it's safe to welcome Kevan Miller to the contenders list for the middleweight title. How any hockey or fight fan can score this a win for Moen is beyond me. Hope he's okay but with his history, this doesn't look good. KO win for Miller in an exciting fight. Damn that kid is strong. PS. Clearly there will always be a good 10% of voters/haters on this site who will always pick their own team's player despite how badly they lose the fight. When you leave the game with a concussion, after getting knocked down in a fight from a punch to the head, suffice to say YOU LOST THE FIGHT.

Posted by Snoka on March 24, 2014 at 10:40 PM

Another hab gets knocked the F out! Too bad it wasn't Soup Can but we all know he is a coward. Who are the homos that voted for Moen?

Posted by dpearson14 on March 25, 2014 at 02:08 PM

Habs fans are comical. Your guy gets knocked out and you complain that the Bruin had a visor... look again... so does Moen. Oh and if you knew the rules you would know Miller doesn't have a choice. All new players in the league must wear a visor. Also the "hit" on Weiss was a love tap and looked like an NBA foul. It only got called because of the way he went into the boards but Miller did nothing wrong. At the end of the day Miller is a beast and NHL players are probably taking notice now. He has surprised a few guys who didn't realize he could fight but they should know now.

Posted by oakdaddy on March 25, 2014 at 10:10 AM

Weis falls 20 feet from the boards on a touch from behind. Moen thinks he's going to be a tough guy and defend his wifes honor. Miller makes him re-think that idea. Miller win.

Posted by EK65 on March 25, 2014 at 02:16 AM

Miller goes from looking like he one punched moen to looking like moen caught him to probably ending moen's regular season.. all the best to travis.. miller is one tough cookie he took out 2/3 of the habs "energy line" in a matter of seconds..

Posted by brianamoro on March 24, 2014 at 11:08 PM

How does someone vote for Moen when he got knocked out? Wtf u Retards whoever you are...only hab fans would would do this. Miller killed him the end

Posted by nickfotiu on March 24, 2014 at 10:59 PM

Beast! 100% Miller. Idiots gave Moen the win.

Posted by moneybags on March 25, 2014 at 12:18 AM

What moron Homers voted for Moen? That was a legitimate KO.

Posted by sedinfan on March 24, 2014 at 10:27 PM

Miller is tough and Moen needs to retire. He defends a teammate like he should, but has never been a good fighter. Millar got him with a decent punch, but that shouldn't have been a concussion, no legs wobbler. Moen obviously can't take a punch.

Posted by TheHunn on March 25, 2014 at 09:05 PM

Wow, where to start? Two guys with visors fighting; not too keen on that. Offset by the determination of both combatants. Some would have stopped at the first or even second knockdown, but they wanted to go the distance. I've never played the game, so it's hard for me to be critical. I didn't think the initial penalty was that bad, certainly not bad enough for a guy with concussion problems to insist on a go. I hope Moen's OK. I'm not a Montreal fan, I just hate seeing someone get hurt for nothing.

Posted by nait on March 24, 2014 at 11:08 PM

the hit looked worse then hit really was. Moen lost this fight 3 times. first knocked down the Miller knocked him out then he didn't come back into the game

Posted by SURESHOT27 on March 25, 2014 at 09:59 AM

Not the outcome that Travis wanted, now was it!! Keep your gloves on and shut up!!

Posted by TrueHockeyFan79 on March 27, 2014 at 11:02 PM

Think it's time for Moen to stop fighting unless he wants his brain turned to mush.

Posted by GoonVisor on March 25, 2014 at 03:32 PM

1. The 'cheap shot' on DW wasn't cheap. 2. Moen brought the fight to Miller. Miller tried to look it off and seemed honestly concerned for Weis. 3. They both wear visors. (Miller's is mandatory) 4. Habs fans are bit-chez. 5. I do feel bad for Travis Moen. Tried to do the right thing and paid dearly.

Posted by WereNotThatHabs on March 25, 2014 at 12:22 PM

Wowie! im disappointed in my fellow habs fans for voting moen as the winner here. Miller looked locked and loaded the whole way through here and seals it with a mean hook to the temple. Very tough kid, bruins got another one coming up the ranks. Looks like more physical woes in these matchups for us habs fans in the future. Got the win on the clock tho! Wooo .

Posted by Stone55555 on March 27, 2014 at 07:40 PM

I have no idea why Moen didn't keep throwing when he had Miller going down. If he had Miller wouldn't have gotten back on his feet and dropped him. Gotta finish Moen!

Posted by Hilaker on March 25, 2014 at 09:09 PM

Winner Miller. Loser the Canadiens coaching for having Moen as the only option for handling the rough stuff. Looks like Moen will be in the quiet room for awhile. Surely Monteal have someone who can hold their own. Moen should punch the Montreal coach when he remembers what went down and how he was left to stand up fo this teammate.

Posted by joe heathen on March 24, 2014 at 11:55 PM

Miller nailed Moen right on the ear early, rung his bell right off the bat, right hand set his ears ringing and head spinning,Miller has good hand speed and power...Moen should be planning his summer joe heathen says

Posted by Bunker on March 25, 2014 at 08:39 AM

Entertaining fight with 3 knockdowns. The fact that Moen got hurt stinks. Hope he is ok and gets back on the ice soon- Moen seems like one of the few Habs that has a bit of honor and will actually drop the gloves to defend a team-mate. Miller is a tough kid, hits and fights hard, and probably has more skill than McQuaid. Where are the Bruins getting all these defensemen? Sheesh.

Posted by Crazy Rabbi on March 25, 2014 at 05:25 PM

Posted by Maine Hockey on March 26, 2014 at 08:41 AM

Gotta feel bad for Moen. Miller is helping to fill the void left by McQuaid being out.

Posted by Bigmikeftw on March 25, 2014 at 05:02 PM

Miller gives Moen maximum disrespect 2 da mouf

Posted by jlmcgui on March 25, 2014 at 05:48 PM

Yes, Moen WAS also wearing a visor. Kudos to Moen for coming to Weise's aide. But a clear Miller win! Lesson learned ... Don't Poke the Bear! May I digress ... And why didn't PK go with Boychuk? Is Boychuk too big (bigger than Marchand) an opponent? And why didn't Emelin accept from either Chara or Lucic; and that 'apparent spear' from Lucic; Gilles Lupien, John Kordic and Nuckles Nilas must be rolling there eyes with this bunch of wussies!!! HORRIBLE OFFICIATING ... BOTH WAYS!!!

Posted by Canner on March 25, 2014 at 12:03 AM

In one shift, Miller takes out the Scabs' appointed goon squad of the night, albeit with one guy just falling because he can't skate.......

Posted by rocky 1 on March 25, 2014 at 11:58 AM

Both fighters get knocked down from a punch but obviously Millers stung a bit more for the win.Oh no comments on bot these guys wearing Visors and there not rookies.I guess its a two way street when Gazdic wears one because he,s a Rookie. What excuse here boys?

Posted by Esjay1980 on March 25, 2014 at 07:03 PM

Posted by Kordic64 on March 26, 2014 at 02:13 AM

I know I've said this before, but it bears repeating. Pierre McGuire is such a douche. Anyway, obviously Miller. Gotta love seeing the name Miller in a B's sweater. Too bad his number isn't 29.

Posted by billbraski75 on March 24, 2014 at 10:40 PM

Gotta laugh at the guy whining about Miller wearing a visor. You do realize Moen wears a visor too. At least, until it got smashed off by Miller.

Posted by dontpokeTheBear on April 07, 2014 at 07:23 PM

Moen got gonged

Posted by enzoskis on March 30, 2014 at 12:22 AM

Posted by Orielly on April 18, 2014 at 12:58 PM

Miller easy win, but respect to Moen for giving it a go. Good thing it was stopped or else they would have taken Moen out on a stretcher.

Posted by Great Murray on March 26, 2014 at 08:14 AM

Yikes! I see retirement in Thornton's future. His replacement as number one beast on the team may be here. I did laugh my ass off when I read the Boston fans' bitching about the Montreal homer vote...what a riot! It also looked like a retirement beating for Travis Moen. Too bad...he was pretty much the only Canadian with balls for a long time.

Posted by B-Bear on March 25, 2014 at 12:28 AM

Posted by NickG on March 25, 2014 at 12:52 PM

Circumstances dictated Moen do this. BUT I do think he had the chance to opt out early, and he didn't. Miller fights angry, no real D in his fights, which is why he usually catches a few with his chin when he does go. Have to like Moen's game, respect his career too. Good night Travis. Hope you have a better morning. W Millah

Posted by The Stache on March 25, 2014 at 12:16 PM

As a Habs fan I don't know how anyone can give this win to Moen. But for those of you saying it was an easy win, this fight was one linesman coming in when Miller was down away from being a Moen win. On another note, its absolutely disgusting that Therrien played Bournival, Moen and Boullion over Parros, White and Tinordi in this game.

Posted by Biggun19 on March 25, 2014 at 09:10 PM

Miller is strong as sh*t, will be a force when he polishes his technique. hope Moen is alright.

Posted by mrkibbles on March 25, 2014 at 01:13 AM

Nice bout, Miller answered the bell accordingly. As a bruins fan I tend to be biased but this one was clear cut. Miller wins with the knockout.

Posted by bigmike53 on March 25, 2014 at 01:00 AM

Early on it looked like an even match up. One KD for each guy in a spirited scrap! Miller then lands a bomb and puts an end to the festivities. I like this kid Miller and it's a KO for him.

Posted by ruger1 on March 25, 2014 at 12:11 PM

@ Habssuck, I guess you didn't watch the third period where The Habs were called four or five times in a row you idiot. How could you say the refs were biased to Montreal?? Just like most of the Bruin fanboys on here you are an a$$

Posted by nhlofficialsblo on March 25, 2014 at 08:00 AM

This scrap is waaaaaay over rated. Miller wins it but it's not as huge as some make it appear. What number are the B's going to assign Pierre McGuire? The humpback of Vancouver got rocked with a great check early in the game and quickly illustrates why the B's are so easy to despise. They can dish it out but can't take it. What I wouldn't give to see Chara have his teeth straightened out by someone.

Posted by mikebflorida on March 25, 2014 at 01:00 PM

Ouch! Moen looked like Wile E Coyote coming off the ice after an anvil fell on his head.

Posted by slavv on March 25, 2014 at 12:40 PM

Not sure I've ever seen a hockey fight with three knockdowns as this one had. Good for Moen to step in after Miller made a dangerous play. Moen isn't the fighter he wants to be, though....

Another impressive win for Miller.

Posted by revilomtl on March 25, 2014 at 11:59 AM

Habs fan here, but it's obvious Miller won. Moen is big but not the most talented scrapper. But I got to wonder if Moen had a visor like Miller, the fight would have been different. They should just be allowed to take their helmets off.

Posted by DARCY T on March 30, 2014 at 04:16 PM

it was just a little push and weise lost his balance.he should blame himself for going into boards like that just when i thought miller got tko'd he got back up and tko's moen.i think moen tought that as well and stopped throwing while miller was going down and he paid costly for that

Posted by canamrugby on March 25, 2014 at 09:51 PM

Moen you are not cut out for the enforcer role; I think everyone admires your courage but save the fighting for guys that know how not to get their lights punched out.

Posted by jcstokes on March 24, 2014 at 11:14 PM

Ouch. MC below nailed it. Three punch fight and two leveled Moen. KO. I hate the Bruins and their cheap play, they'll get what's coming to them.

Killer Miller drops the old bum Moen

Posted by jabby haymaker on March 25, 2014 at 12:13 AM

I think sedinfan is a red sox fan. My reasoning? KevAn Miller = Bruin, Kevin MillAr = former BoSox. He spelled it both ways. Either way, the Boston guy won this fight and after the game hoped everyone he knocked out of the game in that 1 minute and 30 seconds was OK.

Posted by BradleyJ on March 27, 2014 at 09:03 PM

Moen steps up but takes a beating for his decision. Props to him anyway.

Posted by AJHill on March 25, 2014 at 07:48 AM

Easy win Miller. Am I the only one who finds it amusing that Habs fans have the audacity to call the Bruins cheap shot artists? Your team's whole MO is to take cheap shots and dives. And you act like the Bruins would actually change their game had Parros and Prust played? Parros is over the hill, and I've seen Prust get smacked around by both Thornton and Lucic so many times that I've lost count.

Posted by Savage5000 on March 31, 2014 at 02:39 AM

Miller has very quickly entered the group of "Bruins nobody wants to fight" alongside Thornton and Lucic. (Chara isn't on there because it's usually a great trade)

Hate the Habs (obviously) but always been a fan of Moen in that he's a clean player. Good fight overall and would have preferred to not see it end with a concussion for Travis. Miller is stronger than he looks - reminds me of Adam McQuaid...

Posted by Bruins170 on March 24, 2014 at 10:29 PM

Miller does not play. He blasted Moen and manhandled him. Would like to see him against Derrick E or Chris Neil.

Posted by snipes40 on March 29, 2014 at 01:26 AM

200 % Miller ! Those stupids HABS fans again crying and moaning like hell. You are just a bunch oh pussies with no guts like Emelin and Subban. They act like heroes in the $%? BELL Center but are hiding in their mother shorts when outside their home. Moen want to avenge Weise but get the lesson of his life. He should retire !

Posted by MAWordMan on March 26, 2014 at 12:39 PM

How does anyone think that Moen won that fight?

Posted by Friartuck on March 25, 2014 at 08:46 PM

I feel for Moen. He is a respectable enough guy and was doing the right thing according to the situation. I'm not sure if many people had a problem with the initial hit Miller put an Weise, but it definitely looked miller was taken back by Moen's presence. I can't tell if Miller said what or why when him and Moen were sitting there. He clearly did not proceed up ice with the play and stayed back in a very concerned manner. As far as the fight went, enjoyable, all except the part were the softball starts to grow on Moens forehead and he needs two guys to help him off the ice. In case you don't know I'm a Bruins fan, but this year I have enjoyed watching the habs more so then I have in a long time. The team grinds and plays with an edge that has been missing for quite some time. As much as I can't stand PK, the dude is so effective and is able to draw so many penalties. Above all the job done by an 8-8 backup goalie is what really stole the show. Great fight. Great Game.

Posted by Jaxon on March 26, 2014 at 04:53 PM

'Billy', Congrats on the 24 cups. I know - still you are frustrated, maybe even a little embarrassed, when B's play Habs? But, take solace in the fact that your wimpies won the game. Right? And my oh my, you even won the series (4-1)? Shame on those Bruins (#1 in the NHL)! And you mention that darned 7th playoff game. We were sooo lucky the game officials were on the Bruins' side. Now, tell me again Bill - how are the Habs doing in the standings? Yawn. Ole ole ole ole ! PS "Bruins Cowards" (?) - Lol you are one frustrated Habs dude, eh? PPS I do hope Travis recovers ok.

Posted by Erba40 on March 25, 2014 at 04:49 PM

Kudos for moen to step up for a linemate but he walked right into the lions den, or should I say "bruins" den. Miller is not know for his incredible power but he showed some of it in this fight by throwing a knockout punch right after moen connected with a solid lunch if his own.

Posted by IwillBruinyou on March 25, 2014 at 05:38 PM

Posted by jwilk44 on March 25, 2014 at 09:48 AM

Give Moan credit for fighting like a man. Not like all other Canadians who dive and hide when they are challenged.

Posted by PubliusK on March 25, 2014 at 01:43 PM

Ouch. How often do you see 3 knockdowns in a fight? I hope Moen was okay. His eyes were as wide as saucers as he was helped off of the ice. How did anyone pick Moen in this one? He was knocked out cold.

Posted by Middlebrooks16 on March 25, 2014 at 03:12 PM

Guarantee the only people that said Moen won are from Montreal

Posted by teddiaustin on March 26, 2014 at 05:15 PM

Three shots to the head and Moen was left wondering what city he was in. I looked like Moen got one solid punch in that made Millar lose his balance. The fight started off bad for Moen when he took the first head shot and crumpled to the ice. He was lifted up off the ice by Miller but he should have stayed down. Moen showed some courage but will be left wondering if courage is actually a smart thing to do vs Millar.

Posted by bruins64 on March 25, 2014 at 11:42 AM

How anybody thinks Moen won hat fought is beyond any rational thought. Moen will be out for weeks after getting his block knocked off. Total domination. Miller slipped and went down got up and knock him the eff out. You see him laying against the boards with one eye going on one direction and the other doing counter clockwise circles ?? Moen was dominated and had his lights punched out, Miller wasn't fazed by anything Moen landed. You Moen moops are total idiots

Posted by HchVegasNHL57 on March 25, 2014 at 07:12 AM

What. A. Doozy. 3 KDs with the last ending in a KO. That was fun!! Miller looks like he could have a good future as a tough middleweight D man. Lastly, I hope moen is ok he landed a real nice one too. Great scrap.

Have to give this fight a 10 both guys scoring knockdowns in a hell of a scrap. This fight was 90% all Miller though big win for him.

Night Night

Posted by carchop on March 27, 2014 at 10:30 AM

it was a KO, but since he was carried upright instead of on his back, i gave moen the benefit of the doubt ... that distant, cross-eyed stare and wobbly legs tells the tale. the habs babies took a serious beating and budaj is the only reason they "won" .... total props to him and price, but the rest of the team, like their "fanatics" are a joke .... bottom line, as of today the NHL's biggest embarrassment, in large part due to the lousy, Stymie-esque theatrics of PK Subban, is 15 points behind the Bruins, and have a "whopping" +6 compared to the Bruins +77 ..... cry on hab girls and savor that shootout "win" ..... come back and see us when you get more than two goalies for a team.

Posted by BBB248 on March 25, 2014 at 09:33 PM

Nice KO by the young gun Miller. Hopefully Moen isn't too messed up. I don't get how the league thinks visors prevent injuries in fights, I've seen more KOs this year than in the past, the whole 2 minutes for taking your helmet off is a joke. And of course the Bruins haters are out voting for Moen, hahaha you idiots. The only thing that could have made this better is commentating from Jack Edwards to put the icing on the cake and get the Habs whiners even more mad

Posted by dumpin17 on March 25, 2014 at 08:40 AM

It's Miller Time!!! What do the refs do when the Habs play Pittsburgh? Can't possibly call a penalty on either of those varsity diving teams. Just have Pierre "the human light bulb" McGuire go on and on about the fantastic skill level and remind us where every one went to grade school and where they played juniors. Enough already.

Posted by shawnrocks on March 24, 2014 at 10:32 PM

Miller is a stronger clone of Mcqauid love this kid That being said Moen tried to pick up for all his fighter team mates out injured...paid a hefty price.... actually got rocked bad by the first punch he took

Posted by Orr Fourever on March 25, 2014 at 07:45 AM

Geez the rook schooled the vet. To take a quote from the movie Slapshot. "F#@ken embarrassing." The Hapless Habs nation will have their blu, blanc et rouge panties in a knot. n'est-ce pas? Kevan Miller with the TKO.

Posted by 87CROSBY87 on March 26, 2014 at 03:01 PM

Domination! Nuff said...

Posted by doobi1 on March 25, 2014 at 09:00 AM

To be knocked down, not once, but twice gives the little bruin bad a## the win although Moen did knock the little fella down as well. Great battle by both and good to see Moen stand up for a teammate.

Posted by Pteropus on March 25, 2014 at 09:25 AM

ahhh .. That Millar kid has some toughness .. ya think?

Posted by Bostonfinity on March 25, 2014 at 10:36 AM

Miller the Killer. People don't know what they're getting into when they mess with Kevan Miller.

Posted by nicholasjonas on March 25, 2014 at 12:31 AM

One of the best fights of the year. Three awesome connections...FUCK CANADA!!!

Posted by BostonBasher24 on March 25, 2014 at 11:20 AM

If anyone watched the show, Beyond the B, they should remember seeing Miller with his shirt off. Guys a BEAST! Strong as an ox. His rep is growing as a kid who can handle himself nicely. He's taking McQuiads spot seamlessly . It's good to see HockeyEast producing some tough kids that can throw down with anyone from Quebec Major Junior.

Posted by Rando716 on March 26, 2014 at 09:11 PM

Typical Boston .... and i don't mean that in a good way

Posted by kitcarnut on March 24, 2014 at 10:32 PM

Miller drops him cold, no doubt here.

Posted by handsometaint on March 25, 2014 at 09:20 AM

whoever is voting Moen won is clearly a Habs fan, and being a homer. Miller all the way in this one.

Posted by Humper on March 25, 2014 at 09:03 AM

Good fight, but I shuddered at the final outcome. Moen should not be doing this kinda thing no moen.

Posted by habssuck on March 25, 2014 at 09:57 AM

To start, when you're getting helped off the ice it is a KO not a TKO. I do hope Moen is okay as concussions are not a good thing and I don't wish that on anyone; even a scumbag Hab! Montreal won a meaningless game and would not have a chance in any series vs B's getting beat up night after night. Parros or Prust would not have changed a thing! Who's the big fat sissy defenseman on the Habs that can't skate, cheapshots small players and cowered when faced by Chara? The refs were very partial towards the Habs as they must have felt bad for them. Habs fans will not have a chance to sing their little "We're gay! We're gay! We're gay! song if we play them post-season as there will be nothing to cheer about.

Posted by grrbronco81 on March 25, 2014 at 03:31 PM

Props to Moen for sticking up for his teammate, even with the problems he's had. Looks like that last punch hit his head up against the glass.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on April 16, 2014 at 09:57 PM

Miller coldcocked Moen! I hope he's ok so he can get the sh!t kicked out of him some more this year.

Posted by adam16 on March 24, 2014 at 11:23 PM

Yup, clear win by Miller landing the bombs. Really no need to be trashing Moen, stood up for his teammate and that's respectable in my books. Hope he recovers without any setbacks.

Posted by kayaws on March 26, 2014 at 12:31 PM

I give Moen credit for stepping up to protect his teammate (even though that was more incidental contact than a legit penalty in the first place), but damn he got _owned_. Always great to see another Montre-fall faux tough guy/diver get his well-deserved beating though!

Posted by niftyweave on March 24, 2014 at 10:32 PM

Wow!!! Three knockdowns in one fight! Win to Miller for getting two of them.

Posted by lucic17 on March 24, 2014 at 10:36 PM

Miller is strong and Moen has never been good since he left Anaheim. Miller shakes off a right cross to the chin to deliver the hammer blow. Great game. Wish Parros and Prust were there.

Posted by Big_Fat_Dan on March 25, 2014 at 03:18 PM

Damn. Three big knockdown's on to many for Travis thou, I fear for him as he has had a lot of concussion problems. Good bout, all the best Travis.

Posted by kkdowning on March 25, 2014 at 09:51 AM

Ouch. Moen gets dropped twice (and sort of dropped Miller once) and then hits his helmet-less head on the ice. Moen left in the position of having to protect the little Habs, which probably is not a job he should be asked to take on anymore.

Posted by Massive Coiler on March 24, 2014 at 10:31 PM

Three huge punches thrown in that fight, two of them were Miller's, and both were knockdowns. Good fight despite only a couple punches being thrown, but they were all cinder blocks. Good, kind of short, fight that results in an easy win for Miller.

Posted by sjeffh on March 25, 2014 at 03:37 AM

Miller won easily but Moen did get a couple of good shots in there.

Posted by King of Goons on March 24, 2014 at 10:53 PM

Moen is moaning in the hospital right now. Moen lacks the killer instinct to be a real NHL fighter. After that hit on Weise, any true goon would have skated over and buried Miller at full force before he even got a chance to know what hit him. Moen's mistake was he politely skated over to him, tapped him on the pads and challenged him. Bad move Travis. That first punch by Miller might have knocked Moens head off his shoulders if he wasn't wearing a helmet. Nice win for Miller over the currently in intensive care patient Travis Moen.

Posted by hogie1 on March 25, 2014 at 07:46 AM

Travis Moen seems like a great guy who has been forced to play a role he is not suited for. He is a checking winger who will drop the glives. He is not a policeman but due to management not doibg their job, guys like Moen are forced to play roles they are not suited for. At best, Moen is a reluctant fighter. Having said that, props to Miller. They both threw some bombs. Miller connected more. Moen got hit in the ear which all fighters know can mess up your equillebrium. Second point is that on a site where people supposedly think highly of honest players with the balls to drop their gloves, I cannot belueve the number of a$$hole comments here about Moen. Where were you guys when they led Thornton off the ice after his attitude adjustment appointment with John Scott.

Posted by Helmut on March 24, 2014 at 10:52 PM

Weis can't skate and catches an edge after a tiny touch 20 feet from the boards but he sucks so bad that he can't slow himself and gets hurt. Poor Moen just gets bitch owned he should have just turned around and let his ass get humped. Maybe the fags fans will want Miller arrested now too.

Posted by MRoberge on March 25, 2014 at 08:29 AM

I give this to Moen to stand up for his team mate against that Gorilla. Hey you Boston girlies, how did you like the Emelin hit on the other Gorilla with the number 17? And how did you like the Charogne cheap shot on him? And how did you like the big fighter Choybuk against Subban, I think he should remember his dance with White a couple of years ago :) And how did you like the score?

Posted by Bouli on March 25, 2014 at 10:57 PM

Geez - You think there are a few Bruins homers on here?!?! Their guy wins a fight against an average fighter with concussion issues and they all come out of the woodwork. LOL Win Miller - 2 KDs to 1 But I hope the site does something about the disproportionate number of Bruins homers on here before it loses ALL credibility.

Posted by bruinsblow on March 25, 2014 at 10:15 AM

moen owns the boston bitch, another beat down against the boston bitches

Posted by GSP09 on March 24, 2014 at 10:43 PM

Miller cheapshot Weis , A bunch of cheapshots by Boston in this game, Lucic on Emelin with 2 min. left was one of them. Boychuk on Subban , Typical Boston game. All those guys are ghost when you dress an enforcer. Guess what ? Parros and Prust absent tonight

Posted by endor on March 25, 2014 at 09:49 AM

Good scrap! Kudos to Moen for sticking up for hismate. Cheap shot by Miller that led to the fight. Moen just doesn't have it anymore.

Posted by kinga101 on March 25, 2014 at 01:59 PM

In the blink of an eye Miller goes from getting tko'd to administering a tko. I think Moen thought Miller wasn't going to get up from the big right and promptly received a big right. Probably should've been a cross check major. As tough as the Bruins are, they can't take a clean hit and proceed to dish out cheap shots and as usual Marchand leads the pack. It's unbelievable what he gets away with. The league should take a look at the dirty spear from behind to Emelin's gonads by Lucic, but we all know that won't happen. Listening to Pierre McGuire is almost as painful as Edwards. He sounded like he was a Bruins announcer.

Posted by boldbilly on March 25, 2014 at 06:27 AM

First lets say that kevan Miller wins this by tko........he gets two knock downs the last one doing the obvious damage. Moen tried to do the right thing in sticking up for Weiss who was cheap shotted from behind, In a valiant effort he knocks down Miller ALSO but gets tagged and probably concussed and I have a feeling this could be the end for him. That's the true and civilized way to post here as most do..........NOW......... Look at all the ugly comments coming from the Bruin camp. Laughing at the probable end of someone's career, and they wonder why everyone hates Boston.Travis Moen is not and never was much of a fighter but he would stick up for his teammates when he had to, this makes him brave and undeserving of all this garbage and drivel. They talk about Miller like he some kind of hero but just 12 days ago he got his hero ass kicked by Brandon Prust who was fighting him with a separated shoulder.......some hero.....only in Boston. This game was ugly Bruin cowards ran over our team without our enforcers in the line up....It started with Emelin's clean hit at centre ice on the biggest spot picker of all time LUCIC and never ended. Chara for some reason feels compelled to pick on people with broken orbital bones knowing they can't fight. Boychuk mugging Subban on a power play what an idiot, Milan the PU$$ie spearing Emelin behind the play in the gonads......It won't but this should be reviewed because it was caught on camera.........Running our goalie and the list goes on Thornton trying to fight Markov....what a coward.......and all the punching and hitting after the whistle and no calls from the ref .....except he made sure that Boston got 4 straight power plays......even penalizing Gallagher for the great hustle to get back and take away Cambell's scoring chance by lifting his stick ......and calling it hooking.......disgusting........ EVEN WITH ALL THIS BULL$hit.........YOU LOST THE GAME WE WON THE SERIES 4-1........your goalie Joanie Cunningham is 3-16 in lifetime history against Montreal....our back up beat you!!!!!!! Also the year you won the cup we took you to the 7th game and you won it in overtime on a lucky Knuckleball from Horton.........SO IF I WAS YOU......I WOULD BE AFRAID TO MEET US IN THE PLAYOFFS...... TONIGHT YOU WON A FIGHT IN THE BATTLE..........BUT IN THE WAR YOU ARE LOSING.........24 cups to 6 .......and no matter how hard you try you will never have the class of our organization............DO'NT BELIEVE ME?........ Just read the garbage posts that are written here...... Lol...?.ole ole ole lole

Posted by HOCKEY GOD on March 24, 2014 at 10:34 PM

Moen simply wins cos cheapshotting Bruin wears a visor. Wonder if he wears it while sucking Jack Edwards knob?
