Dylon the Pylon falls down. And those Trojan condom jerseys are an embarrassment.

Greening, while not necessarily a fighter, has always been tough as nails. Senators really could have used him if they would've let him play. Nice to see him get playing time with Toronto and take on his trade-partner in Phaneuf. This was a good, close fight. Gonna give the edge to Greening.

So refreshing to watch Fanooph get some love to the face.

Close with a slight edge to Phannyman.

Good battle. Woke up the dozy faithful at the ACC.

Celine Dion finally drops em with someone almost his size, he always tries to drop em quick and swing first, always against non-fighters, and he gets popped, his star is fading fast................

WTF. I was wondering why Phanny had changed numbers. This was my first notice Phanny had been traded. So sorry, Ottawa. What a 'neufy. Greening. Of course.

Visor fight. Still some nice piston punches. W to Greener.

Sloppy Seconds gets pummeled.

I know EK65 is happy! Greening with the narrow win in a decent scrap.

Colin beats poo poo

Good tilt on both sides. Greening wins. Nice to see two fighters on the offensive instead of trying to hang back out of range and just throw crappy jersey jabs instead.

This was amazing. I haven't seen Phaneuf act with that much enthusiasm in years...must be the water in Toronto...probably get it from the Flint river. All Phaneuf early...all Greening late. Good fight...Draw

Posted by ballardgreg on March 07, 2016 at 09:12 PM

Even draw, phaneuf lost his footing and fell but both started out strong and threw a handful of shots, would of been nice to see it go longer.

Glad to see Phaneuf eat a couple. He started off well, but of course when things got tough he bailed. Some things never change. Lot of Leafs fans enjoyed this one. Worst captain in the history of the sport

Dion doesn't back out of the fight, but does lose this scrap.

Phaneuf is the biggest POS in the NHL... Love seeing him get dialed.

Posted by Field6 on April 07, 2016 at 09:05 PM

draw.... wouldnt argue a win to greening w/ the last shot.

Posted by BennyD on March 07, 2016 at 02:34 PM

CG with the close decision. Nice to see that Dions gloves actually do come off.

Posted by rocky 1 on March 06, 2016 at 02:01 AM

Wow have not seen one like this in a long while with both guys swinging for the fences.Greening gets the Green light win with the knockdown of Phaneuf!

Posted by MBsez on March 09, 2016 at 09:34 PM

Dion loses in any jersey he puts on ......

Posted by doobi1 on March 06, 2016 at 01:52 PM

Nice toe to toe bout by both with Greening getting a slight edge after eating a few straight on shots and then he decided he had enough of Phaneuf for the WIN. Enjoyed the bout.

Posted by bhavikp27 on March 05, 2016 at 08:39 PM

Greening won this but it was a good fight

Posted by steppenwolf99 on March 08, 2016 at 07:38 PM

Good quick tilt, went right at each other.more solid punches thrown by Greening.

Posted by berry_nutzz on March 06, 2016 at 11:17 AM

Phaneuf stars fast, Greening gets more punches in before he takes down Phaneuf. This fight was difficult to watch, I kept wondering "Phaneuf isn't number 38", I couldn't stop thinking Phaneuf was the Leaf in this bout!

Posted by DARCY T on March 11, 2016 at 02:45 PM

2 guys who were involved in the same trade a couple weeks ago.both guys punched a lot of face and visor.phanuef wanted it but i think greening came back after slower start and got the win.or at least the edge i had to revive my memory and i checked greening's fight card and he is quite effective with his gloves off for a non-fighter

Posted by budsfan4 on March 05, 2016 at 08:23 PM

a spirited battle with Dion standing toe to toe but give Greening a slight edge and the takedown

Posted by Biggus on March 06, 2016 at 12:11 PM

Looks like a little bad blood between these two as they go hard and fast from start to finish. Called it a draw and gave it a 6.

Posted by legend22 on March 05, 2016 at 10:22 PM

Phaneuf wanted it and got it..another beat down

Posted by Humper on March 05, 2016 at 11:05 PM

Greening with more and better shots, although it was reasonably close.

Posted by EK65 on March 05, 2016 at 11:30 PM

Pretty good scrap that puts me in a conflicting spot. I'm a notorious Colin Greening fan (the only one I think) I was also a notorious Dion Phaneuf hater (as a leaf) So I'm obliged to hate a guy I like and love a guy I hate Anyways enough about me. Greening gets the edge. This fight was a "wee-bit" of emotion in an otherwise semi-dead rivalry. Part of me misses Travis Green & Darcy Tucker

Posted by sedinfan on March 06, 2016 at 11:59 AM

good scrap, first time i think i haven't seen Phaneuf hang on for dear life and actually stand there and throw them.

Posted by RockemSockem16 on March 05, 2016 at 08:31 PM

Easy dub for dion

Posted by willinottawa on March 06, 2016 at 09:23 AM

Screw greening. He'll be back in the minors in no time. Close but Dion won a close one here.
