Looks like Robins gave him a Latta right hands :-) *Sorry... Couldn't help myself :-)

I sense a disturbing pattern... As increasingly chippy play ultimately leads to an under-qualified would-be avenger almost getting his head ripped off while ill-advisedly attempting to come to the defence of a team mate against... (that sadly increasing rarity) an opposing team that actually carries a legitimate heavy I just hope no one gets seriously hurt trying to be something that they're not before the realization of the true value of dressing at least one real policeman is "reappreciated" Signed The Wishful Thinker

Crap fight, a few hard helmet shots nets Robins a cheap win. BFD

baskin and robbins with whole latta nada

Posted by nait on October 11, 2014 at 08:21 PM

Latta shouldn't have dropped them

Posted by Great Murray on October 12, 2014 at 09:21 AM

Latta answers the bell by skating over dropping his gloves and says "hit me". Robins may be a tough little middleweight but we still don't really know. He fought a couple of clowns so far. All Robins...but not much without a partner.

Not sure this should count as a fight.

latta didnt like robbins' knee/hit on niskanen but robbins didnt give him much of a chance...win robbins

Posted by Amerkfan8 on October 12, 2014 at 01:00 AM

Latta fights a lot, but he's not very good at it. Robbins throws all the punches.

Posted by fanta28 on October 12, 2014 at 11:15 AM

Have to give this one to Robins. I also have to say he won't fair to well against most real fighters. Time will tell, it's coming.

Lousy fight night, this is the highest rated of a sad bunch of bouts, and it was beyond pathetic.

Posted by Jez-x on October 11, 2014 at 09:26 PM

Robins takes care of a (soy) Latta.

Posted by Jaxon on October 13, 2014 at 09:40 AM

W - Robins, in a somewhat crappy affair . But Bold Billy, you're letting your anti-Bruins prejudice show (yet again). You give a "slight edge" to Robins in this one? Really? It really hurts you, doesn't it ? Lol !!

Posted by chad420 on October 13, 2014 at 01:12 PM

win RR....horrible performance by the Bs

Posted by travist on October 14, 2014 at 07:33 PM

you drop the gloves you have to throw. shaky hit by robbins, don't like to see that.

Clubbed!

Latta nothing here. Sad....

Posted by EK65 on October 13, 2014 at 11:24 AM

Always game Robins edges Latta in a "meh" 4... Had a long post ready and prepared but, Behn nailed it better than I could.

Posted by bigmike53 on October 11, 2014 at 08:59 PM

Latta drops his gloves first and then doesn't throw any punches. Robins at least fired some punches and gets the win in this lousy fight.

Posted by Evanwilson777 on October 13, 2014 at 11:50 AM

Robins with the win. Why would latta even try to drop to the gloves? must of been pissed with all tht trash talkin robins was doin when they played these guys in the preseason

Posted by bruins34 on October 12, 2014 at 01:38 AM

Robins won, flat out. Latta came to the aid of a teammate but, once the gloves were off, he looked like he didn't quite know what to do next. Strange

Posted by Orr Fourever on October 11, 2014 at 10:06 PM

Win for Robins. It was the highlight of the game for the Bruins.

Posted by Pug Face on October 12, 2014 at 12:28 AM

I hope robins works out. If he gets stupid penalties that lead to pp goals , he won't be in the bigs that long...

Posted by English_Bruin on October 12, 2014 at 04:44 AM

Robbins is like a pitbull. Easy win for him here, the other dude should have known better.

Posted by scrowley91 on October 12, 2014 at 11:18 AM

Lopsided and short, Robbins definitely dominated the fight.

Posted by doobi1 on October 12, 2014 at 03:11 PM

Bobby Baboe is now 2 and 0.

Posted by Derek_Sedita420 on October 12, 2014 at 11:30 AM

The biased people on this site make me sick. How can anyone vote for latta he didn't even land a punch and got punched in the head 3 times

Posted by Gunslinger on October 13, 2014 at 08:28 AM

Bobby Robbins.....the new Matt Cooke.

Posted by Humper on October 11, 2014 at 07:59 PM

All Robins, but it really didn't amount to a hill of beans.

Posted by pvdrummer2000 on October 12, 2014 at 01:42 AM

I like Robins, hope he sticks around for the whole season.

Posted by mmadced on October 12, 2014 at 12:28 PM

robbins win easily latta has a lot of fights on his card in the past hope he did better in those fights. robbins coming for the heavyweight championship

Posted by kkdowning on October 12, 2014 at 10:44 AM

Sorry, but Robins is not the old Shawn Thornton -- and that attempted knee hit was BS. But Robins does win this uneventful scrap. Jack Edwards could not even gin up much enthusiasm ...

Posted by blackngold on October 12, 2014 at 06:18 PM

For fuck's sake, how was that a kneeing penalty?

Posted by mr. puttzo on October 12, 2014 at 06:40 PM

This is the goon that has to protect punks Chara. and Lucic, a 33yr. old minor leaguer who can't hang with the big boys. The punks are in trouble

Posted by boldbilly on October 12, 2014 at 07:09 AM

Wow you have got to be kidding me.....I guess in this life we see and hear what we want to.....crap fight I gave the slight edge to Robbins......however... That was a dirty knee? Or maybe he was a little to anxious and is trying to hard at this level......whichever he better stay away from the additional penalties because he won't be around long unless he learns how to scrap and not hurt your team... Can we stop with all the glorifying here of Robbins so what he beat Latta virtually a non fighter and a no name at this level.......then he beats Schenn the punching bag and we are ready to give him the heavy weight belt........too soon folks let's see him step it up in the talent level and see what he really has......UNTILL THEN.......he just looks like another Bruin spot picker...win Robbins

Posted by King of Goons on October 11, 2014 at 11:54 PM

Easy win for Robins. Bruins could have used this guy last year when they lost practically every fight.
