Falk's upset because he played like a chump ... Giveaway that lead to a score and a double minor such resulted in 2 more for the Caps. He was looking for redemption. Too bad for him. Latta steps in and protects his teammate. Latta by a nose

edge to Latta. Landed better shots and take down

Posted by NMBbob on January 19, 2016 at 09:55 PM

not sure what other folks were watching, but i didnt see Falk land a punch,he missed every time-Latta landed a few and then tossed falk down-not much of a fight but Latta with slight edge

Posted by snwolves on January 20, 2016 at 10:39 AM

Latta got in at least one good shot to the face. Falk looked a little whooped at the end.

Latta landed a couple of so-so shots that had Falk on his heels & gets a bonus point for stepping up for a non-fighter teammate.

Jerk move by Falk going after a guy who's not a known fighter, so Latta steps in, something he's been known to do in the past. Doesn't look like Falk landed a good punch and Latta did.

Nice job by Latta -- stepping in for the soft, (skilled) Swede and winning the fight.

Falk goes after the weakest person in the NHL. The Washington feed made it look like Latta beat down Falk. This angle makes it look a whole lot closer. I will call it a 4 and a draw.

Not much of a fight but Latta with the slight edge because I didnt see Faulk land anything. The Washington CSN feed looked a little better for Latta but basically a boring fight with no real punches landed.

It was not a run away win but a win none the less for Latta !

Posted by boldbilly on January 21, 2016 at 07:04 AM

Latta wins this Falk was roughing up the non fighter johansen and was feeling all manly UNTILL Latta steps in and beats up the bigger man For those of you who voted Falk or draw.....look at the end of this video and see how he stays on his knees for a time and steadies himself before skating off.....he ate a few good ones and was dazed......this was no draw and certainly no win for him.......could have been if he would have fought the swede perhaps Easy win for Latta

Decent fight...Latta gets a 6...the fight gets a 5. Latta controls the fight and Falk pretty easily. He was on the offensive for the whole match.

Latta sticks up for his weaker teammate and fights the big but, awkward Falk Edge to Latta

Posted by Mansa on January 19, 2016 at 10:22 PM

Latta successfully steps up. Faulk didn't want that dance partner.

Hats off to Latta for stepping in for his teammate - that's what it's all about - way to step in and take the win.

Falk blatanly picks on Johansson, so Latta shows Falk what the "other duties as required" clause means, but I really didn't think Latta was all that impressive. I mean, the goal held him up (and I'm a caps fan).

Typical fight for today's NHL ...so-so at best !

Falk off.

Posted by DARCY T on January 31, 2016 at 05:11 PM

latta stepped up to protect johansson when falk was too tough on him and they dropped the gloves.latta won their last fight but this one's a draw

Latta does a nice job stepping up for a smaller teammate. He gets the better of Falk in this bout.

Faulk was in full retreat mode and couldn't connect anything, Latta was teeing off on him and driving him back As you can see in their previous bout, Falk has the height advantage, Latta has the strength advantage Another clear win for Latta

Posted by lehmanj23 on January 20, 2016 at 06:21 AM

Latta dominated the fight, this was not even close as Falk was dominated by a smaller man!

Posted by Slewfooter on January 20, 2016 at 01:21 AM

Strong step up by Latta. Faulk going after Johannson was a weak move. The ref helping Faulk up from the ice tells the tale of the bout.

Latta wins but he loses points for jumping between two other guys and starts fighting before the other is ready!

Posted by King of Goons on January 19, 2016 at 09:03 PM

Not much of a fight. Falk lands a few, Latte (not a typo) lands nothing. Got to hand it to Latte, he likes to fight. Can't do it very well, but he still loves to throw em'. Falk's first punch decks him and sends him to one knee, in case anyone missed that. Falk the clear winner.

After reading the reviews, I'm not sure where all of the Little Latta votes came from, but I counted at least, 4 around the world, connects from Falk, which constitutes a WIN for Falk. Four roundhouse connects vs little jab connects is not a draw either. Roundhouse connects win every time.

Posted by BennyD on January 20, 2016 at 10:56 AM

5 and a draw.

Posted by kari takko on January 20, 2016 at 10:59 AM

Good fight - draw.

Posted by bbout2c on January 20, 2016 at 09:13 AM

crap fight , draw all day, just because latta is a fighter doesn't mean he automatically wins !

Posted by slambo on January 19, 2016 at 10:00 PM

Faulkface managed to get a few good shots of his own on the smaller, but tougher Latta. Just enough to earn a draw from my pov...d/4

Posted by lucic17 on January 19, 2016 at 08:56 PM

Calling it a draw or Falk but if those two heavy punches by Falk did indeed land it was Falk clear cut. Love Latta's spunk. He is always willing to go and steps in here when it is obviously necessary. Not sure why Falk had the hard on for a non-fighter but he went looking for something and he got it. A breath of fresh air (like the Gubranson pounding of that tool Hendricks last night) in today's NHL.

He wanted to fight the idiot who elbowed him in the head, and latta-datta jumped in for his lil sister, win Falk.
